The Brooklyn Subway Attack Just Unraveled the Gun Control Argument Presented in NYSRPA v. Bruen.

“Honest, hard-working people were going about their day in Brooklyn, headed to work. Thanks to the intransigence of their local and state governments, these people were completely disarmed, left to the mercy of someone who’d planned his attack to do the most damage possible. ‘First responders’ were too late to do anything about the shooting. They always are.”

Actually, Biden himself referred to civilians who gave first aid as first responders, but of course failed to take the obvious next step.

Yeah, how many people would be dead today if everyone was firing back at each other through the smoky haze?

Idiots

Wait...seriously...you prefer the 'cower in terror', 'stampede wildly over anyone in your path', and/or wait the 20 minutes for the police or social worker to come and de-escalate in this situation?   Me, I would prefer to be standing next to the off-duty officer who plugged this luantic in the head as he began his reign of terror.   Absent the off duty police officer, I'd prefer to be next to the sensible gun owner who plugged this lunatic in the head as he began his reign of terror.

CNN: Do gun buybacks reduce violent crime?   Er ..........

Chicago officials annually take in hundreds of guns through buyback programs. But decades of research shows such programs don’t reduce gun violence, in large part because they don’t result in guns being taken from people who aren’t supposed to have them. One recent study found “no evidence that (gun buyback programs) reduce suicides or homicides where a firearm was involved.”

These types of programs are common in cities across America, and Chicago’s goal is ambitious compared to other programs. Long Beach, California, police took in 280 guns at an event in September. More than 250 were turned in at an event last summer in Desoto, Texas. Police in Albany, Georgia, collected 40 this way last spring.

“It’s good theater. But it’s not helping deal with gangs and drug dealers and everyone else using the guns,” said Joseph Giacalone, retired NYPD sergeant and current professor at John Jay College.

Maybe someone was .May have hauled A$$ outta there though. Just carrying a gun doesn’t give one courage to use it in this type of situation.
