But what if we outlaw assault-style dengue?

That's fine, but we also need to set up dengue-free zones. Complete with signs, so people know we're serious.

Don't forget to outlaw high capacity magazines like the American Journal of Medicine

How many pages would you consider a high capacity magazine? Does print size matter? Are colored pages racist? What about by-lines? Do we want to approach that subject or just gloss over it? Finally, should bullet points be allowed?

The franchise is a far greater responsibility than gun ownership.

Any opinion on rolling back the "right" to vote until, say, 30?

Or perhaps placing qualifiers on the exercise of that right?  Say, by having to prove your competency with a test, or perhaps by achieving some success litmus, like owning property?

I know it's a trap, but I'm all for it :)  And I'd also tie it to the other rights were arguing about, IE:  gun ownership, driving, drinking, etc! :)

I am, and there will be more school shooting. It's almost preordained

Sort of like your next post is preordained to be idiotic, eh?

I was hoping Tibs would guarantee that never would ever occur another school shooting.

I guess that makes libs brave to hold the next shooting against people they don't like.

Any magazines over 8 pages is high capacity.  Print size does not matter nor does the caliber of the writing.

See this? https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/business/2018/03/06/walmart-dicks-sporting-goods-sued-over-new-gun-policies/398288002/

From USA Today:

A 20-year-old Oregon man has accused Walmart and Dick’s Sporting Goods of age-discrimination for refusing to sell him a rifle.

Tyler Watson filed Oregon county court lawsuits against the retailers on Monday, six days after they announced they would not sell guns to buyers under 21.The companies added the higher age restriction after the massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla.

Oregon law allows state residents to buy shotguns or rifles as of age 18. Federal law also allows people 18 and older to buy rifles or shotguns from licensed dealers.

Problem is that’s not the LAW, just their policy, and some are seeing their policy as discrimination.

Which could and is leading to lawsuits.

Oops.

If a gay couple can force a baker to bake a cake, then an adult under 21 should be able to force a retailer to sell him a legal weapon.

But the Oregon State Supreme Court doubtlessly won't see it that way, citing the legal standard of "But that's different!"

REI Co-op has stopped selling certain brands of binoculars (Bushnell), kayaks, bicycle accessories (child seats, helmets, frame packs), sunglasses, water bottles (Camelbak, specifically), camping equipment...because the brands all have relations to a parent company that also makes hunting rifles.  Not even "assault-style weapons."  Hunting rifles.

Guess everyone's going to have to buy their Camelbaks on Amazon.

Baltimore School District Can’t Heat Schools But Are Sending 60 Busloads of Kids to Anti-Gun March with Free T-Shirts and Meals

The Baltimore city school system could not heat the schools this past winter.

Parents stormed the school system headquarters in January to demand the schools raise the temperature in the classrooms.

But that didn’t stop Baltimore Mayor from offering to send 60 busloads of kids to an anti-gun rally in Washington DC later this month.

Mayor Catherine Pugh announced at the Tuesday rally that the city will send 60 buses to the march against guns in Washington DC. later this month. The broke city will also provide food and free T-shirts.

They are indoctrinating the kids early in public schools these days.
