They continue to try this failing tactic.

Sidenote:  You notice that none of the PPP left posted about last week's school shooting.

Mexico's Lawsuit Against American Gun Companies to Face US Supreme Court

By Ward Clark

FTA:

On Tuesday, the Second Amendment and the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act will face a challenge in the United States Supreme Court, in a lawsuit brought by Mexico.

That's right. The government of Mexico is suing the makers of a perfectly lawful product in America due to their inability to deal with Mexico's horrendous crime rate.

This lawsuit is a shallow attempt by the Mexican government to evade its failure to keep order in its own country. The cartels run rampant, many of their weapons are stolen or purchased from Mexican law enforcement or soldiers; it's not at all unlikely, given their resources, that the cartels could and may well already have set up arms factories of their own; even modern, military-grade weaponry isn't inordinantly hard to build, as witness the ubiquitous AK-pattern rifles built all over the Third World.

Mexico is a failed narco-state. Their crime rate is truly horrifying, and they cannot blame guns for it any longer, not guns from America, nor guns taken from their cops and soldiers. They have to deal with the failures in their own system, and they have to deal - harshly - with the cartels.

Democrats Pushing Federal Mag Capacity Bill

Mark Chesnut

A group of anti-gun U.S. Senators has introduced a measure that would outlaw firearm magazines that could hold more than 10 rounds and authorize a so-called “buyback” program to confiscate magazines holding more rounds.

The so-called Keep Americans Safe Act, introduced in both the House and Senate, would prohibit the sale or transfer of magazines that can hold more than 10 rounds to anyone except law enforcement and prohibit the possession of such magazines manufactured after the date of enactment by anyone except law enforcement; authorize magazine buyback programs; and empower law enforcement agencies, including the FBI and ATF, to seize and destroy magazines that are possessed illegally.

MESSAGE TO GUN CONTROLLERS:

Check Your Privilege Because the Second Amendment Gives Everyone the Right to Be Safe.

The U.S. House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime and Federal Government Surveillance, under the leadership of Chairman Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), held a committee hearing focused on the right of law-abiding Americans to protect themselves.

It’s a critical moment for Second Amendment rights as President Donald Trump campaigned on restoring community safety and vowing to protect the Constitutional rights of law-abiding Americans. That priority resonated with voters, including more than 26.2 million law-abiding Americans persuaded by crime and threats of violence in their communities to purchase a firearm for the first time over the past five years.

This priority also aligns with the House Republicans as they are committed to standing up for those Second Amendment rights and ensuring American communities are safe from criminal violence after historic surges in crime during the Biden-Harris administration.

Subcommittee Chairman Biggs set the table succinctly during his opening remarks about why the hearing was so critical.

“At a time when violent crime continues to plague our communities and rogue prosecutors allow criminals back out on the streets, it is important to preserve our right to defend ourselves and our loved ones,” Chairman Biggs stated. “It’s disgraceful to think that someone defending their family from a deadly attack would be punished.”
