Gender dysphoria (transgender) is in the DSM-5 as a legit mental illness. Suicide rate is high without surgery, but it's significantly worse for those who do complete that "change".

"Ten to 15 years after surgical reassignment, the suicide rate of those who had undergone sex-reassignment surgery rose to 20 times that of comparable peers."

https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0016885

Yep! Even thought I don't live in NYS, they practically banned "assault weapons" by telling people they had one year to register, turn them in or destroy them. You're a criminal if you owned one and just let it sit in your safe for 12 months and 1 day, not doing anything.

Here's what solves this made up crisis. No drugs for the kids, no surgeries on the kids and no drag shows for kids. All this drama is over immediately. Problem is for some reason this means this is literally erasing trans people and literally being nazis.

DEMS are literally screaming for the government to what?????

even in here, examples over and over again that would be just that.

NYS banned ASSAULT rifles. people were told they had one year to register, sell or destroy.    and all that came from that was a bunch of self-reported boating accidents.

And yet...we aren't living in the V for Vendetta Universe. Imagine that!

I wonder why denying trans folks access to kids and not allowing kids to get castrated “erases” trans people 🤔🤔🤔

Never said that BS. You can keep saying that and trying to piece together my posts, but I never said that. Keep trying though.

Here is the back and forth of our conversation - there is no PIECING TOGETHER of YOUR POSTS - note the time stamps - you were kicking and screaming trying to avoid answering this question and we can all see why:

And why do you support Putin and the invasion of Ukraine?

I’m not giving up any of my firearms. They are locked away in my gun safe and have never hurt anyone. You’ll find 99.9% of owners would say the same.

Now answer mine.

There you go ladies and gentleman - this guy is so incredibly selfish his gun is more important than the endless massacre of innocent people.

1) I would give up my car in a heartbeat if I knew it would prevent a loved one from getting killed.

2) Regarding Putin - your master doesn’t have the right to invade a sovereign country and massacre people.

But then again I am not surprised a Trumphole is okay with Putin destroying its neighbor and killing innocent people. It is exactly what you want to happen here.

Guns over People - it’s the Republican way.

You live on the PPP of a random Bills themed board in a niche section... all day and all night everyday. Regardless of what you may think your posts reach out to about 20 people in the whole wide world... who agree/disagree. Is this the life you have chosen?

An anecdote that, while great, doesn’t represent the typical outcome.

The epidemiology of self-defense gun use: evidence from the National Crime Victimization Surveys 2007-2011

“Results: Of over 14,000 incidents in which the victim was present, 127 (0.9%) involved a SDGU [self-defense gun use]. SDGU was more common among males, in rural areas, away from home, against male offenders and against offenders with a gun.

After any protective action, 4.2% of victims were injured; after SDGU, 4.1% of victims were injured. In property crimes, 55.9% of victims who took protective action lost property, 38.5 of SDGU victims lost property, and 34.9% of victims who used a weapon other than a gun lost property.

Conclusions: Compared to other protective actions, the National Crime Victimization Surveys provide little evidence that SDGU is uniquely beneficial in reducing the likelihood of injury or property loss.”

I honestly wonder if the people there still mainly view guns as tools instead of fetishizing them.
