NoSaint
OMG Mike.... I hope you aren't serious!!! there was a decent sized group last year that wanted us to bring him in as depth. the thread is still out there. stuff like "hes down to 300lbs so you know hes taking it serious" and the proverbial "what do we have to lose" "There's no harm in kicking the tires" "What's the downside?" "Maybe he can push EJ" exactly..... that wasnt one of the boards proudest moments.

Manther
http://www.nfl.com/n...blank-dvd-caper Coaches suspected he wasnt watching film ans studying so they sent him home with a blank dvd and said it was their game plan and asked him to watch it and tell them what he thought. He came back the next day saying he watched it and thought it was good. What a moron CBF Amazing!! I don't think Ja-normous could push a lawnmower, much less push EJ. LOL. Well said, funny! DC Tom
Really, how difficult is it to check the DVD and, when you see it's blank, burn some porn on it and give it back?

SmokinES3
He made 30 million of Al's dollars for no work, and his body never took a real NFL beating over the long haul. More power to him I say. Being lazy is his prerogative. Edited July 17, 2014 by SmokinES3

maddenboy
As was said years ago about some big-time bust (Ryan Leaf, I think): --He did what most people do when they hit the Lotto. He retired. "technically" he kept showing up at work, but he was gone. Edited July 17, 2014 by maddenboy

Being lazy is his prerogative. He shouldn't have taken the money if he didn't plan on doing the work required for it. Not preparing puts yourself and your teammates at increased risk. It's incredibly dumb.
The Wiz
He was on NFL welfare You know it's only a matter of time until they make a show out of players that are broke after being out of the league and that's a really good name for it.
Coach Tuesday
Exhibit A for why the rookie salary cap structure is necessary. Dude made a fortune (though I have no doubt he blew it all). Also, if I'm not mistaken, he still beat the Bills in Buffalo...
RJ (not THAT RJ)
No, Coach, he did not. Trent Edwards led a furious comeback to defeat the Raiders.
