YoloinOhio Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 (edited) EJ was on NFLN Total Access last night. Here's the clip: http://www.nfl.com/n...tter_atl_hanzus "That was one thing I had to learn: to be smart when I take off with the football." Edited July 12, 2014 by YoloinOhio
EmotionallyUnstable Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 A few things he noted as to why he'll be improved: 1. Familiarity with the offensive scheme 2. New play makers 3. Better decision making ability 4. "I'm 100%" Thanks for Posting
thebandit27 Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Wow, is it me or does EJ look noticeably beefed up? Shoulders/arms look significantly thicker to me.
The Jokeman Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 (edited) Wow, is it me or does EJ look noticeably beefed up? Shoulders/arms look significantly thicker to me. He does seem thicker but it could be the cut of his shirt and/or maybe the horizontal stripes make it look that way. Edited July 12, 2014 by The Jokeman
Dorkington Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Subtle difference between Chan and Doug noted in the interview... I like that they practice outdoors all year around.
The Wiz Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Wow, is it me or does EJ look noticeably beefed up? Shoulders/arms look significantly thicker to me. Definitely looks like he's been hitting the gym.
Kellyto83TD Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 the #1 thing he needs to learn is how to read defenses and deliver the ball DOWN FIELD accurately and throw when a WR is covered and get it there.
Dibs Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 the #1 thing he needs to learn is how to read defenses and deliver the ball DOWN FIELD accurately and throw when a WR is covered and get it there. Isn't that 3 things?
The Wiz Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Isn't that 3 things? Yea. But everything EJ needs to do this year is 1a, 1b, 1c....
ExWNYer Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Yea. But everything EJ needs to do this year is 1a, 1b, 1c.... I'm most interested in 2c. As in, I want 2c him win.

Big C Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Anyone notice that when he listed off the WR corps he mentioned TJ, Easley and Elliott, but not Hogan?
The Wiz Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Anyone notice that when he listed off the WR corps he mentioned TJ, Easley and Elliott, but not Hogan? With Hogan being deep in the depth chart I doubt he gets first team reps with Manuel much but I did notice also.
The Big Cat Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 I'm most interested in 2c. As in, I want 2c him win. We have a winner. This guy gets it.
YoloinOhio Posted July 12, 2014 Author Posted July 12, 2014 @TCBILLS_Astro: #Bills EJ Manuel will improve YPA this season. Was tops in college, has line and more weapons now http://t.co/C0fZjSEB62 #BillsMafia Not sure if this is accurate because just grabbed off of Twitter verse but the link appears to show
Rocky Landing Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 I have not, nor do I expect, to see, hear, or read anything particularly enlightening from any interview any of our players has with the press this offseason. What I do expect to hear, are the players saying essentially what they are supposed to say. "I'm 100%," "take us where we need to go," "be smarter with the foot bat," etc. Even Watkins recent comments about "trust" with Manual were essentially banal. I think, as a fan, it's interesting to see these things on TV, just to get to know what our players look like, and how they sound. It allows us to feel more personally about them. But, that's about it. Of course, CJ Spiller made his platitudes that EJ will "take us to where we want to go..." What else would he say?
White Linen Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 the #1 thing he needs to learn is how to read defenses and deliver the ball DOWN FIELD accurately and throw when a WR is covered and get it there. Why would you need to read defenses when you're going to throw to a covered WR?
John from Riverside Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 All he needs to do is stay healthy and stay on the field....the rest will come with reps...... And yes.....just look at the arms. EJ has been hitting the gym....kid is a freak for a QB
