That's when Mr "objective philosopher" lost all credibility and I really stopped paying attention to him. When I gave him the hypothetical of pals seizing Israels nukes, and said according to his view they should use them on tel Aviv. Then he went back into "well total annilation of enemy only works for the non-aggressor"

There's no freaking way an occupying power that keeps expanding settlements doesn't share responsibility as an aggressor. No freaking way. So he's a biased jerk, jerk was a given all along its the bias which made him not worth my attention.

Yet here you are with a lengthy, incoherent rant about someone allegedly not worth your attention.

Amnesty International: U.S. Should Stop Arming Israel Amid "Growing Evidence of War Crimes in Gaza"

On Thursday, Amnesty International said the U.S. government must immediately end its ongoing deliveries of large quantities of arms to Israel, which are providing the tools to commit further serious violations of international law in Gaza. Amnesty’s call comes as the United Nations’ top human rights official has also criticized the United States. "They have not only provided the heavy weaponry which is now being used by Israel in Gaza, but they’ve also provided almost $1 billion in providing the Iron Domes to protect Israelis from the rockets attacks, but no such protection has been provided to Gazans against the shelling," said Navi Pillay, U.N. human rights high commissioner. "So I am reminding United States that it’s a party to international humanitarian law and human rights law."

but that can't be right, the Senate voted unanimously in favor of new aid for Israel. And the Senate is never wrong! God damn! I wish the poor in this country could scare our congress into voting them health care by a unanimous vote. But it's only our own country

We haven't been allies to Gaza for 70 years. Why would we provide them with protection and funding? For the sake of fairness?

is this some newly published right wing nut job tactic? "your point is incoherent". i understood clearly what was meant and unless you're a retard (which you may well be), you did too. it's dishonest, mean spirited and childish. just the type of thing hannity or o'reilly or limpbaugh would propose.

We have given aid to not only the West Bank but to Gaza:

http://fas.org/sgp/c...ast/RS22967.pdf

Overview

Since the establishment of limited Palestinian self-rule in the West Bank and Gaza Strip in the

mid-1990s, the U.S. government has committed more than $5 billion in bilateral assistance to the

Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza,1

who are among the largest per capita recipients of

foreign aid worldwide.2

U.S. aid to the Palestinians is intended to promote at least three major

U.S. policy priorities of interest to Congress:

• Preventing terrorism against Israel from the Sunni Islamist group Hamas3

and

other militant organizations.

• Fostering stability, prosperity, and self-governance that incline Palestinians

toward peaceful coexistence with Israel and a “two-state solution.”

• Meeting humanitarian needs.

For the seven years from June 2007 to June 2014, U.S. aid to the Palestinians occurred within the

context of a geographical and factional split between

1. West Bank/Fatah: a U.S.- and Western-supported Palestinian Authority (PA)

in the West Bank led by President Mahmoud Abbas (who also leads the

secular nationalist Fatah faction and the Palestine Liberation Organization, or

PLO4

); and

2. Gaza Strip/Hamas: a de facto regime led by Hamas in Gaza.

This split has been called into question by an April 2014 agreement between Fatah and Hamas

that led to the June 2014 formation of a new “interim” or “caretaker” PA government with

nominal sway over PA-controlled areas in both the West Bank and Gaza (see “What Does the

Fatah-Hamas “Unity” Government Mean for U.S. Aid?” below).5

Says the idiot who uses the term "retard". Listen, dumbass. Joe's rants are anti-semitic trash and when he's challenged he chooses not to respond. You know why? He doesn't have a legitimate response so he conveniently ignores it.

As for your "right wing nut job" comment, I sit in the middle of the spectrum. However imbeciles like yourself really push me to the right because in no way, shape or form would I want to be associated with the moronic likes of you. If that makes me "childish", that's just fine by me.

Its the tactic of the pro-israel crowd since they have no actual defense, with all roads leading to calling someone "anti-semite".

Well in that case the following are anti-semites:

- IDF generals son who said if Israel wants to stop the rockets then stop the occupation

- head of UN human Rights commission who said theres growing evidence israel is committing war crimes

- presbyterian and Lutheran churches who voted to divest church assets from Israel

- several south american countries like Brazil and Chile who withdraw their ambassadors to Israel

- the Jewish organization j-street

- younger Americans who say Israelis are more responsible than palis for the conflict

- American Studies professors who voted to boycott Israeli universities

- EU who banned importation of Israeli products from west bank

- physicist Stephen Hawkings who refused to attend conferences in Israel

- Dutch pension fund PGGM who withdrew tens of millions of euros from Israeli banks

- archbishop Desmond tutu who just announced:

"The crisis we are witnessing in Gaza today is not a Jewish or a Muslim crisis. It is a human crisis.

"Those who continue to do business with Israel fund the perpetuation of a profoundly unjust status quo.

"Those who withdraw their business are saying Israelis and Palestinians are equally entitled to dignity and peace. Gaza is going to test who believes in the worth of human beings."

And on and on and on....

Desmond Tutu nailed it with this recent statement:

"The crisis we are witnessing in Gaza today is not a Jewish or a Muslim crisis. It is a human crisis.

"Those who continue to do business with Israel fund the perpetuation of a profoundly unjust status quo.

"Those who withdraw their business are saying Israelis and Palestinians are equally entitled to dignity and peace. Gaza is going to test who believes in the worth of human beings."

Actually the "pro-Israel crowd" has successfully refuted everything you've posted with facts, so you're incorrect yet again.

And I'm sure Netanyahoo is just so sad about it

See, this is the kind of objective , sober analysis we need to understand the situation, and it comes from an Israeli source.

"It should be noted that Hamas really is interested in a ceasefire. This is not a cautious assessment, or an Israeli misjudgment. Hamas itself is making this clear at every opportunity. Its representatives had even agreed that Israeli forces would remain inside Gaza during the 72-hour truce — something it had firmly opposed just a few days earlier. The situation in Gaza is getting worse by the day, and with it the pressure on Hamas to stop fighting.

As for Secretary of State John Kerry’s ceasefire work: One can only praise the effort he is making, but the 72-hour truce agreement, as published, did not specifically deal with IDF activities to find and demolish the Hamas tunnels. It did allow for Israel to leave the IDF in place in Gaza for the 72 hours, but did not talk of tunnel demolition. Thus, while Israel insisted that the IDF’s work on destroying the tunnels would continue during the truce, Hamas has stressed repeatedly that it did not agree to this. The lack of clarity in the ceasefire agreement on this issue may have been a factor in everything that played out subsequently."

So Hamas refused to allow the IDF to destroy the tunnels used to kill Israelis. "Stop the death of our civilians and stop trying to kill Israelis? Nah can't do that."

They sound like reasonable folk. Good, sober analysis, Joe.

This is all ok because--for those of you who are squeamish cover your eyes--an Israeli soldier in this war has been captured. Yes, sad, I know. Our President, putting aside everything else and forgetting all other events, has rightly denounced this illegal act. The lowly Gazans have really gone too far this time. It just angers me and all Washington politicians that an Israeli has suffered.

A spokesman for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency said an Israeli air strike most likely hit the school in the southern border city of Rafah, while about 3,000 Palestinians, who had fled their homes and were seeking refuge there, were waiting in line for food and other supplies.

“It seems that it was an Israeli air strike, according to our staff on the ground,” said Adnan Abu Hasna, a spokesman for the agency, which is assisting more 200,000 Palestinian evacuees at 90 schools and other facilities in Gaza. “They shelled near the gate of the school. Multiple people were killed inside and outside the school.” A U.N. employee was among those killed, he said.

Netanyahu says Israeli military ‘will take as much time as necessary’ in Gaza

From the one and only Clarice Feldman:

Three Ninnies and a Jackass: This Week in Gaza

This week we learned that former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, the elected choice of the wealthy denizens of San Francisco, believes that Hamas is a humanitarian organization. Qatar, Hamas’ principle supporter, told her so.

From former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton we learned that the reason Hamas’ weapons are found stored in civilian sites -- schools, mosques, hospitals, and UNWRA buildings -- is because the area is so smallthere’s nowhere else to hide them.

And from the UN’s High Commissioner for Human Rights, the viciously anti-Israeli Navi Pillay, we learned that the Israel may have committed war crimes because it refused to shareits Iron Dome technology with Hamas.
