Justice
So Israel is ok when you need to catch a flight? No safe, convenient airports run by non-Jews in the area? Are you kidding? Ben Gurion isn't safe. But it would be, if Israel would stop causing Hamas to make it unsafe... Israel sure is pretty pissed US flights have been suspended by the FAA. Why are they pissed? They're 100% convinced that BG is indeed extremely safe.
Tiberius
Again, less than ten years ago, Israel forcably removed 100% of the settlers from Gaza, and began to do exactly the same thing in the West Bank. http://www.nytimes.com/2014/06/06/world/middleeast/new-israeli-settlement-plans-draw-swift-condemnation.html?_r=0 And less than two months ago they did this? What's your point? Are you kidding? Israel sure is pretty pissed US flights have been suspended by the FAA. Why are they pissed? They're 100% convinced that BG is indeed extremely safe. KD is a complete moron. Its a reaction to the Ukraine shoot down for sure.

truth on hold
Don't think I have ever seen something like this before. The Pals actually put a hurt on Israel. Closing down international flights is a big deal and the Israelis are screaming about it for good reason, but you can't blame airlines for feeling nervous. Israel is opening up another airport to international flights: http://online.wsj.com/articles/israel-opens-alternative-airport-to-more-international-flights-1406123075 Good luck Sec. Kerry, you are going to need it to get a cease fire. They can't have it both ways. They can't on one hand, say the rockets are a grave threat to their major cities, constantly advertise the numbers fired, say they're continuing to be fired (heck even display drawings), rockets are such a threat theyre the main justification for devestating gaza. While on the other hand say the airport is totally safe, especially when rockets have landed in the vicinity. DC Tom
Its a reaction to the Ukraine shoot down for sure. Yes, because the typical reaction to a shoot-down of an airliner is to stop flights from landing a thousand miles away.

IDF posted this image in response to member of British Parliament saying Israel should stop Gaza invasion. So "what would you do" if this were happening in London? Fly into Heathrow? I think covering your ass is a typical reaction to stressful situations. Who wants to be blamed when a jet is hit and hundreds are dead? Or....Maybe Ted Cruz is right and this is an economic attack on Israel by Obama!

truth on hold
How shameful is this? truth on hold
Powerful article here. Shalom, motherphuckers. Fifty-one Israelis who served in the Israel Defense Forces, some of them still in reserve units, published an open letter Wednesday in the Washington Post supporting refusal to perform military service. “We were soldiers in a wide variety of units and positions in the Israeli military — a fact we now regret, because, in our service, we found that troops who operate in the occupied territories aren’t the only ones enforcing the mechanisms of control over Palestinian lives,” they wrote. “In truth, the entire military is implicated. For that reason, we now refuse to participate in our reserve duties, and we support all those who resist being called to service.” “The Palestinian residents of the West Bank and Gaza Strip are deprived of civil rights and human rights. They live under a different legal system from their Jewish neighbors. This is not exclusively the fault of soldiers who operate in these territories. Those troops are, therefore, not the only ones obligated to refuse. Many of us served in logistical and bureaucratic support roles; there, we found that the entire military helps implement the oppression of the Palestinians,” the letter read. http://www.haaretz.com/mobile/1.606871?v=6666D44A785F1B885BD1AF001BE88E4B

Disgrace ... How !@#$ing shameful is it that the UN Human Rights Council has passed more resolutions condemning Israel than for the rest of the world combined?? Sudan, China, Syria, Libya, Egypt are on the up and up according to the UN. Palestine has their own committee with UN Human Rights Council dedicated to investigating and condemning Israel on abuses. No other country or group of people have their own dedicated committee in the UN with unlimited term. The U.S. is one of the few nations on earth which realizes what a farce the UN HRC actually is.
