JP-era Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Bell is a UFA. My buddy says that the Steelers may let him walk. I think I might. HE has an injury concern but has been a stud in the past as far as sacks go. Fletcher would save us 1.6 mil if released. Set to make 3.8 and would have a 1.6 hit if cut. Rico Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 No way. Fletcher is going nowhere, Bell is damaged goods.
UConn James Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Would you cut London Fletcher for, Kendrell Bell? Hell no.
GG Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Wasn't Bell a 1st rounder? Good enough reason for me.
Ozymandius Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Or do we try not to be idiotic and respect locker room chemistry and not ridiculously cut one of our leaders?
Beerball Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Wasn't Bell a 1st rounder? Good enough reason for me. 217948 Works for me too.
LabattBlue Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Speaking of trades...I thought TSW traded JP-era for Foxboro Mike. Why is he still here??
ch19079 Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 the 3-4 and the 4-3 are diffrent systems. these diffrent systems result in diffrent stats for the players. it is diffcult to predict how a LB will do in a 4-3 when he has played his whole carrer in the 3-4. fletcher is proven. why change.
d_wag Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 i nominate this for "worst idea of the off-season".........ain't going to happen, nor should it.........fletch isn't going anywhere..........
drnykterstein Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 no, but i'd cut you for saying such a thing.
Dan Gross Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 i nominate this for "worst idea of the off-season".........ain't going to happen, nor should it.........fletch isn't going anywhere.......... 217975 Did you see the "Henry for Fiedler trade" idea yesterday....? This is up there...
USMCBillsFan Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 While we're at it let's release Moulds and sign Reed to big bucks because he handles the 3 spot so well he can surely handle the 1.
drnykterstein Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Did you see the "Henry for Fiedler trade" idea yesterday....? This is up there... 217998 we need to make a list and publish it, that would be hilarious.
Ralonzo Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Wasn't Bell a 1st rounder? Good enough reason for me. 217948 Actually, a second rounder IIRC.
dave mcbride Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Wasn't Bell a 1st rounder? Good enough reason for me. 217948 you're forgetting - pp-era has to fulfill his quota of at least one absolutely drop-dead ridiculous post per day. remember yesterday's? that tom brady isn't very good?
bernie Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Keep Fletcher!!! No to Bell unless a backup lb.
dave mcbride Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 you're forgetting - pp-era has to fulfill his quota of at least one absolutely drop-dead ridiculous post per day. remember yesterday's? that tom brady isn't very good? 218009 i meant jp-era (the post wasn't meant to read like snarky name-calling).
JP-era Posted January 25, 2005 Author Posted January 25, 2005 Can Kendra play OLB?? 217964 How aqbout the reverse. Fletcher certainly has the speed to play OLB.
rolly Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Wasn't Bell a 1st rounder? Good enough reason for me. 217948 So was Ryan Leaf.
