YoloinOhio Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Ongoing QB research article... very interesting. He created a fair expectation model for young QBs in today's NFL. He believed the big 3 of the 2012 class unfairly skewed how good many believe QBs should be in their rookie seasons. YoloinOhio Posted July 7, 2014 Author Posted July 7, 2014 (edited) Chris Trapasso @ChrisTrapasso 4m Following QBs had better debut NFL seasons than today's Rookie QB Exp. Model - Big Ben, Ryan, Flacco, Cam, Dalton, RG3, Wilson, EJ, Glennon. Chris Trapasso @ChrisTrapasso 3m Criteria for being "better" = only sizably worse in 1 of the five stat categories: Completion % / TD % / INT % / Sack % / Yds Per Completion Chris Trapasso @ChrisTrapasso 16m So, what I've found is...how rookie QBs perform can be pretty good indicator of future success. But even "good" rookie QBs aren't very good. Edited July 7, 2014 by YoloinOhio

You're a "better" poster than I am, Yolo.
