ExiledInIllinois Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 How hot is it? "It's hot. Damn hot! Real hot! Hottest things is my shorts. I could cook things in it. A little crotch pot cooking." Well, can you tell me what it feels like. "Fool, it's hot! I told you again! Were you born on the sun? It's damn hot! I saw - It's so damn hot, I saw little guys, their orange robes burst into flames. It's that hot! Do you know what I'm talking about." What do you think it's going to be like tonight? "It's gonna be hot and wet! That's nice if you're with a lady, but it ain't no good if you're in the jungle."
BuffaloBill Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 I see now that this whole thread was an elaborate ruse to get us to click on a pic of boyst's unit. No way, I'm not falling for it. Tell the truth here... You admire JBoyst's unit
Cugalabanza Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Tell the truth here... You admire JBoyst's unit He can't seem to get it working properly. I am not impressed.
DC Tom Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 My first binder full of idiots is complete! First? Friggin' amateur.
PastaJoe Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 My car's AC stopped working last weekend. I speed home after work before I pass out in the car.
Fan in San Diego Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Is it supposed to be installed in direct sunlight? My outdoor thermometer reads ridiculously high temps when in direct sunlight (Granted, manufacturer mounted in on a wrought iron frame which conducts heat). Also, is it mounted on a steel pole or anything that conducts heats? That could skew the results. Try it in the shade and see how much that changes the results.

I put it like it said, where no shade or other objects will block it, facing due N to read proper wind direction and sunlight. More then likely it just needs to be reset and the bird beerball cleaned out.
BUFFALOKIE Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 (edited) It is supposed to be in the shade, you know, so it can get the actual AIR temperature. Your leather seats get a lot hotter than the AIR temp, right? http://ambientweather.wikispaces.com/Temperature+sensor+reads+too+high Edited July 4, 2014 by THE KIKO MONSTER
