YoloinOhio Posted July 18, 2014 Author Posted July 18, 2014 Bucky Brooks has him #10 on his list. Byrd 4. Makes sense. We had two of the top 10 safeties (according to him). wince. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000365643/article/buckys-best-earl-thomas-eric-berry-headline-dynamic-safeties?campaign=Twitter_writers_brooks

Even without Kiko our Lbs are better then last year vs the run. The tough part will be replacing his nickle duties. They will have to probably now use an extra safety unless a LB steps up, but Pettine did that last year even with Kiko. We dont know how Schwartz will play it. Edited July 18, 2014 by TheTruthHurts

The plan was to have two 3-down LBs on the field in Rivers and Alonso. I'm not sure we have two of those guys now, unless Lawson goes back to OLB on the strong side, Rivers goes to the weak, and/or Bradham or Brown or whomever surprises. My guess is Lawson returns to LB as he's adequate in coverage and just a better player at this point than our other alternatives. At least at the moment. GO BILLS!!!
