truth on hold Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 (edited) I don't know why stations keep playing this, I don't know anyone who likes it, can't imagine anyone requesting it, and it sucks ... yet seems like not a week goes by without the rock station playing .... http://youtu.be/Hn-enjcgV1o Edited June 27, 2014 by Joe_the_6_pack
ExiledInIllinois Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 What are you trying to do, weed out the people who may happen to be able to tolerate this song? Well, I am taking the 5th! Notice I said the word: Tolerate :P BTW Jay... What's wrong with Steve Miller: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jyV41-tFPcQ
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Take the money and run is one of the most hateful songs ever.
BringBackFergy Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 "We Built this City"....I can't even bring myself to fetch the Youtube link. I have the same reaction to this song as DC Tom with "Friday"

Gugny Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 I don't think the purpose of the OP's original post was to ask what you think is a classic song that you wonder why it receives air play. I think he just wanted us all to know that he doesn't like, "Baby Come Back." I happen to like that song.
truth on hold Posted June 27, 2014 Author Posted June 27, 2014 (edited) "Baby Come Back." I happen to like that song. So you're the @*ing guy keeps requesting it! Edited June 27, 2014 by Joe_the_6_pack
Philly McButterpants Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Amazing to see the diversity of tastes that people have. Personally, I love both the Eagles and Steely Dan. Steve Miller is OK . . . I would vote for anything by Jethro Tull. And despite my professed love of progressive and art rock (Rush, Yes, Genesis, etc.), Pink Floyd has been played to death by one of the Buffalo stations. I've enjoyed the break from 1,000 PF songs per day here in Philly.
