nodnarb Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 they picked up the stunts and kept drew outa harm's way. L. Smith looks like a hidden gem, for sure. ANd our dancing bear looked pretty damn good to these eyes. progress.
USMCBillsFan Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 I was listening to the game on Sirius radio and the only feed was a Detroit one. They were saying that the Bills offense looked very sloppy. This was right before the half. What's up with that? Did they look bad? This was said right after Pucillo's false start. Any input???
nodnarb Posted September 3, 2004 Author Posted September 3, 2004 yea, it's on local tv here in rochester. No, they didn't look sloppy, save for a few untimely penalties (two of which were completely bogus). Drew was sharp, the blocking was sharp, moulds was perfect, mcgahee was slow to the hole, the line didn't create giant gaping holes but their pass pro was solid. The game itself looks sloppy because it has been mind numbingly slow...with injuries to the lions and a ton of penalties on both teams. But as far as our first teamers go, no. not sloppy. Better for sure. Progress. Progress.

Any input??? 16607[/snapback] AVP was blaming it (at least the penalties) on the O-Line not being used to Matthews cadence. I know the HB Williams got hit for a 7 Yard loss at one point. Not sure what the rest of the sloppiness was... B)
Frez Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 Willis looks slow uh? Is it him or is he just waiting for the holes to open?
MadBuffaloDisease Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 The O-line will only get better as they jell. And Willis isn't a full speed yet. Probably sometime near mid-season or thereafter, just in time for the SB run.
