Nobody has the guts to mention Third Eye Blind?

Loved Santa Monica when it was new. (Still kinda do)

No mentions of Weezer yet either.

So much good stuff, never got to it yet. Offspring also in that class...

The Toadies - Possum Kingdom

Soul Asylum - Runaway Train

Third Eye Blind - Motorcycle Drive By

That was my thought on them as well once recommended.

A few more:

Blink 182 - Dammit

Ben Harper - Steal My Kisses

Mad Season - River of Deceit

Faith No More - From out of Nowhere

Porno for Pyros - Pets

Filter - Hey Man Nice Shot, Take a PIcture

Flaming Lips - Don't Use Jelly

Green Jelly - Three Little PIgs (Buffalo Boys!)

Jane's Addiction - Ain't No Right

Lisa Loeb - Stay (I Miss You) Yeah, that's right, I said it and I'm comfortable with it.

The Mighty Mighty Bosstones - Someday I Suppose

Pavement - Box Elder

Rage Against the Machine - Ghost of Tom Joad (cover)

Reel Big Fish - Sell Out

Tool - Sober

The Verve Pipe - Freshman

Tugboat Annie - Posterboy

Now this one is obscure, but it's one of my favorite albums of all time, check out a few songs if you are looking for something new to listen to:

Texas is the Reason - Magic Bullet Theory, Antique, Back and to the Left, Blue Boy

More Hip Hop:

Positive K - I Got a Man

Tribe Called Quest - Check the Rhime

Cypress Hill - I Ain't Going out Like That

Wu Tang - Method Man

Warren G - Regulate

Onyx - Slam

Really liked this - probably too pop for most. This guy died already a few years ago:

Honestly, I would lump this song in with LEN, Steal my Sunshine as two great 90's pop guilty pleasures.

Can't believe the dude died though. Damn,

How could we forget the Offspring!?

The Toadies - Possum Kingdom

:worthy: Just recently put this track into a playlist. So 90's. So sweet.

Blink 182

Flaming Lips - Don't Use Jelly

Green Jelly - Three Little PIgs (Buffalo Boys!)

Jane's Addiction - Ain't No Right

Lisa Loeb - Stay (I Miss You) Yeah, that's right, I said it and I'm comfortable with it.

The Mighty Mighty Bosstones - Someday I Suppose

Some more great additions.

I think Oasis has only gotten one mention in this thread.

This is quickly becoming an exercise in the depth and variety of 90's bands and great tunes.

I've been meaning to post this, put couldn't access it from my work computer. I think a lot of the songs have been mentioned:

This thread is pretty much the daily playlist of the Lithium channel on Siriusxm minus the hiphop/rap.

Spin Doctors - Two Princes, Little Miss Can't Be Wrong

Right up there with Semi-Charmed Life as a song pegged as a 90's establishing shot trope!

Speaking of which, go back and watch So I Married an Axe Murderer. SO many 90's songs. The movie just oozes 90's.

Just thought of another one:

The Eels--Novacaine for the Soul

For me, it's hands down the Singles movie soundtrack. Epic.

The Presidents of the United States - Peaches

Ugly Kid Joe - Cats in the Cradle (cover)

For sure. Third Eye Blinds self-titled album was the 90's. The studio recording/engineering/production/ exceeded a million dollars to produce that album. There were even a few songs done at the skywalker ranch.

Has anyone mentioned Counting Crows yet?

Love that song, but don't you mean "The Last Time" by The Rolling Stones? ;)

No More Tears-Ozzy (actually most of that album was great)

Natural One-Folk Implosion

It's really the Orchestral cover of that song done by their Manager at the time. It's really obvious in it.

Yep. They were supposed to sample a small part of it, but basically took the whole thing.

And I forgot to mention Crazy by Seal.

A Buffalo Bills message board makes it this far before the first mention of the Goo Goo Dolls? Telling.

Seriously, I am NOT a fan.

But Ben Folds Five belongs in the mix. I'll nominate Brick.

Also every other song on Mellon Collie.

I thought "Iris" was a great song. Especially in the context of the "City of Angels" movie.

No mention of Cracker yet. Maybe it's like the Redskins thing and no one was willing to put it out there.

Also, one a lot of people probably liked but didn't know who did it was Mighty KC.

FOR SQUIRRELS - Mighty KC:
