Azalin Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 right off the top of my head I'd have to say Frank Sinatra (but the voices in my head keep saying 'Frank Zappa')
DC Tom Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 (edited) Shakespeare. Or Aeschylus, who more or less invented "entertainment." Edited June 19, 2014 by DC Tom
The Poojer Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 best all around entertainer(s)...Martin & Lewis, comedy, music, acting, not sure they did any dancing, but off the top of my head they would be my pick
Cugalabanza Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 That’s a tough one. For the most part, I find that people typically referred to as “entertainers” are not all that entertaining to me. Kind of like how “humorists” are rarely ever funny. I guess I’m gonna go with Kermit the Frog. By the way, is there any way to block Gugny from posting in this thread?
JohnC Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 For versatility Sammy Davis Jr. Michael Jackson is in the same mold as a singer and dancer.
mrags Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 I would possibly say John Candy. Doesn't get much better than him.
Security Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Has to be a chick, she can suck at whatever she is doing, and if she is hot I still want to watch her.

Marv's Neighbor Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 I saw Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin & Sammy Davis Jr. in '88 in Seattle. Frank was good, Dean was faced, but OK, but Sammy stole the show. He was quite an entertainer! A short time later, Dean dropped out and was replaced by Liza Minnelli.
