voodoo poonani Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Good CB. I know a lot of Chiefs fans who will be ticked off by this.
YoloinOhio Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Word is Falcons are ready to pounce. BTW Chiefs, always a good idea to decrease the # of good CBs you have in a division where you play Manning and Rivers 4x.
Fingon Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 As what though? Surely he would want to start, and I don't think there is a place for him. I expect Graham/Robey to be very productive in the slot, and McKelvin/Gilimore have the outside locked down.

YoloinOhio Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 convert him to FS? Based on the reports out of the Bills, AW is a lock at FS. SS is the open competition.
Bills Fan in Beantown Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Cap space move - based on KC's website: Flowers’ cap number would have been $10.5 million this year, $11.5 million in 2015 and $9.75 million in 2016 Read more here: http://www.kansascity.com/sports/nfl/kansas-city-chiefs/article547173/Chiefs-release-cornerback-Brandon-Flowers.html#storylink=cpy
YoloinOhio Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 John Clayton @ClaytonESPN 8m With the Chiefs releasing Brandon Flowers, the Chiefs can try to extend Alex Smith and Justin Houston.

I don't think it's a bad idea given all the injuries suffered last year, but it's unlikely.
947 Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Flowers is a very good player in the right system, but he's not scheme diverse. He was a bad fit in KC's new defense, as evidenced last year. Think Warren Sapp in the Raiders 3-4. He'll catch on & be a good player again. I don't think he's a good fit for us-especially at his price tag, but Atlanta seems like a good fit.
Max997 Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 wouldnt be shocked if he ended up with Texans under Romeo Crennel who i believe coached him with the Chiefs Based on the reports out of the Bills, AW is a lock at FS. SS is the open competition. exactly yet ppl continue to talk about FS like its a hole on this team

uticaclub Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 I hate the Falcons since Bryan Cox Sucker became a coach
vincec Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 I hate the Falcons since Bryan Cox Sucker became a coach It's tough to hate Bryan Cox since his teams never really had any success against the Bills. He was like the heel in professional wrestling that is always antagonizing and talking trash but then gets his in the end to the satisfaction of all. He played this role to perfection.
chris heff Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 I watched Flowers play in High School. He was a man playing boys. Some team is going to get a very good player.

Except for when he signed with the Patriots and won a Super Bowl.
YoloinOhio Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Sign him up! He's a Bills fan and his music's alright. Lead singer of The Killers?
