ERs will be busy!

My lovely wife told me this, this morning. I believed her, just wanted a link!

Friday the 13th and a full moon on the same day!

Watch out!

Last time this happened was October, 2000, and the next time will be in 35 years, August, 2049!!

When does the moon go exactly full? It has to be down to the minute and second, right?

From my brother in law who is an astronomy geek...among other things.

Friday the 13th is coming up, but for those of us west of the Eastern Time zone, the Full Moon will have already happened on the 12th. It's because US-centric calendars almost exclusively use Eastern time. The Full Moon instant will be at 9:11 PM on the 12th, Pacific Time (Midnight-11 on the 13th for east coasters). However, the Moon will rise on the 13th at its farthest south for the month: -19.1°. That has to count for something.

Cool there is a realistic shot that I will be alive for the next one....

Ha, that was actually my first thought when I saw when the next one was.

I just wonder if the Bills will have won a Super Bowl before then.
