pkwwjd Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 One Buffalobills.com they have the video for our best gadgets plays of the year and they start off with the fake punt to Thomas. What really got me is how much the upback (Joe Burns?) is motioning to Thomas. I know he is calling the throw, but the Raiders had to be so brain dead not to see Burns' pointing. It looked more like a ILB pointing out an uncovered receiver, than an offensive player calling out a sneaky play. It may be a little thing, but it just amazed me how obvious the upcoming play was. 'Course that is in hindsight.
billsfanone Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 Maybe he was yelling a blocking assignment or something not so obvious...
Matt in KC Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 I don't think it was called. I think they saw he was uncovered and went to him for the easy first down. As much as he might give it away, it was Morr important to make sure he knew KT was open.
