Chef Jim Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 He thinks a family with two dads is one of the worst possible starting places for a child. Do you agree? He does? I think you just shot a birdie with this post.
Benjamin Franklin Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 (edited) He does? I think you just shot a birdie with this post. His statement: "The non-nuclear family [here: two dads] is one of the worst possible starting places for children," My characterization of his statement: "He thinks a family with two dads is one of the worst possible starting places for a child." Prickly Pete Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 This thread is 284 pages long, and has meandered all over the map. This particular jaunt only occupied a single page, so I think you'll be able to live with it. Thanks for your thoughtful gesture. We'll keep it going here. You two make a perfect couple.

GG Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Nothing to see here folks, move along. There was zero influence on the FBI. Clinton Ally Aided Campaign of FBI Official’s Wife The political organization of Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, an influential Democrat with longstanding ties to Bill and Hillary Clinton, gave nearly $500,000 to the election campaign of the wife of an official at the Federal Bureau of Investigation who later helped oversee the investigation into Mrs. Clinton’s email use. Maybe it's just me, but if anyone in my industry had such a huge conflict of interest would be fired on the spot and be investigated for securities and financial law violations.

4merper4mer Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Another coincidence.... http://www.fireandreamitchell.com/2016/10/23/gavin-macfadyen-director-of-wikileaks-mysteriously-dies/ From the comments section below the article: America is about to destroy itself. I don't feel informed enough to pin the guy's death on anything....people die. But that comment is one I find difficult to refute.
Deranged Rhino Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 One hopes Julian Assange has a really good dead man's switch. Since the DDOS attacks last week, JA has been offline and WikiLeaks twitter has been posting nothing but blatant partisan tweets... You do the math.
dickleyjones Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 (edited) If you want to dispute them, bring evidence. The fact is that the non-nuclear family is the single greatest predictor of inter-generational poverty. Multiple studies conducted by both left and right leaning organizations have borne this out. Your feeling to the contrary don't count as evidence. My evidence is that there is likely a third (or fourth or fifth) factor that has been ignored or missed by the studies. Maybe the cause is the attitudes (in my opinion, ignorant attitudes, but to each their own) of some people in our society regarding non-nuclear families. There could be other causes as well. Point is, your 'evidence' is weak. Edit: this is not to say your quoted studies are worthless, they were done for a reason. Taking the results as 'fact' is just silly though. boyst Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Okay. Raise your hand if you look at this picture... ...and are surprised to find this guy prefers his porn to feature pregnant chicks. Any takers? No? Didn't think so. This is what I've always imagined gatorman/...lybob looks like. imagine the time when I make news similarly. Luckily, 4chan doesn't archive like reddit. But there is enough here to make some laughs. If not...I'll try harder. Everyone casting judgement on this guy is a jome
