Not sure if this has been posted. Wow, she is claiming Trump followed her around the stage and "stalked her" and tried to intimidate her. Jesus Christ Hillary, you don't need to manufacture issues. You've already won.

And if you are male, don't try and argue otherwise, because you just don't know what women have to deal with always looking over their shoulder!

How the :censored: is she going to come face to face with people like Putin?

Hillary Clinton is so far ahead — so seemingly almost locked in — and yet she still can’t get to 50%.

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

I’ll vote for Mr. Trump—grimly. But there is no alternative, no shadow of a responsible alternative.

Mr. Trump’s candidacy is a message from the voters. He is the empty gin bottle they have chosen to toss through the window. The message begins with the fact that voters hear what the leaders and pundits don’t: the profound contempt for America and Americans that Mrs. Clinton and President Obama share and their frightening lack of emotional connection to this nation and its people.

—David Gelernter on Trump and the Emasculated Voter

So your choice is between someone who tweets like an idiot and someone who requires a small army of editors to avoid tweeting like an idiot

Hillary should probably focus less on sounding competent and more on being competent.

An Attempted Hillary Email Coverup?

A senior State Department official repeatedly pressed the FBI to change the classification of emails stored on Hillary Clinton's private server, according to FBI interview summaries set to be released in the coming days. Patrick Kennedy, the undersecretary of state for management, discussed providing additional overseas slots for the FBI in exchange for revisions to classifications of the sensitive emails.

Well, obviously HRC does. But I don't inderstand Benny's attitude, which is "I don't want to know what the HRC Machine does, because I don't want Trump to be president". Some people seem to feel there is nothing worse than Trump...but there is.

Trump has never been a serious candidate. He's an illusion and distraction.

HRC isn't the devil, she just represents the establishment. The same establishment that's been derailing us from a democratic republic to a democratic oligarchy in just 16 war-torn years. That's why she's dangerous... it's also why her victory has been a sure thing since her 2008 concession.

I agree that Hillary is just the face of the machine. I am not certain that Trump is, though it's not beyond the pale.

There are two options with Trump as I see it:

1) He was and is a willing Clinton plant. His job, as we've seen outlined in Podesta's emails, was to be the pied piper candidate that demolished the field and made HRC's run easier. This assumes Trump is a knowing and willing participant and probably involve some quid pro quo -- which I think is a far less likely than option 2.

2) Trump is an unwitting stooge for the establishment. Hand picked, as we've seen in the emails, to blow out the GOP field and make Hillary's run easier. Whether he thought he had a real chance or not, Trump hasn't shown much interest in actually winning the campaign, he seems more interested in the "next step" (a cable media empire he hopes to build). This option is easier to buy because it doesn't require Trump to be "in on it". The establishment just needed to let Trump be Trump and they'd handle the rest (eliminating Sanders and any serious GOP threats to HRC).

In neither of these scenarios was a Trump victory a possibility.

It still isn't. Because this isn't an election, it's a coronation and the doubling down on our slide away from a true democratic republic towards an authoritarian oligarchy.

You obviously fear him.

I don't think so at all. He just knows that Hillary can stamp Assange out at any time and he enjoys that. It seems weird to me that he would applaud such a thing but to each his own. Personally, I'm no fan of Assange, and I think the whole thing is fake because Assange is a commie like Hillary but whatever.

The HRC campaign leaks don't concern me too much. Dirty pool but it's real.

It's when Wikileaks leaked classified military info that I got concerned. And the precedent it sets for more of the same concerns me gravely. If it doesn't concern you, you might want to re-think your defense of Assange.

Wikileaks cuts all ways.
