I read the first two sentences. How will Hillary do what Bill or Obama did? One of them was a black president. And he did nothing. What can she do?

Your post relies on so many declarative statements and presumptions that I honestly can't begin to answer. And I honestly don't know what you're asking because the only context is you telling me that you read two sentences.

yea because it took two sentences for me to be able to believe you'd have an interesting answer as to why Clinton would actually be willing and able to help black America? Her biggest message iS think of the children. Shes pandering

I don't know that anyone here (save one or two) give Trump a pass as much as we just ignore him.

Plus...it's understood Trump's a garden slug. But there's a consistent practice in the media of beatifying Hillary, which is the hypocrisy that really galls most of us.

Honest question, you don't feel like the attention around the email scandal was inordinate? You don't think the live look ins when she testified in front of Congress around the emails or around Benghazi was attention that very much tended to cast her in a negative light? Or the constant questions about "why doesnt the American people like you?"

I don't think that she has gotten pumpkin treatment. Trump's gotten a pass on his taxes and largely around Trump University, and his defrauding people in his business dealings for the better part of 40 years. When his shady past comes up it's usually as some side editorial or ancillary story (like comments about Indiana judges) that the media won't probe into any more than superficially. They cover him more as an entertainer than someone that they should be vetting for office. Some of this may be a function of Clinton being in public office but the general campaign narrative seems to be around emails particularly more than it is any skeletons in Trump's closet.

I don't think that she will help black America. I think that she'll use black folks for votes. She can't win without us. She is an opportunist.

Interesting because Trump seems to be where he is at this point in spite of the Republican Party hating him and in spite of the media throwing barstools in his path. On the other hand Clinton has her party actively rigging the system for her and has the press propping her up at every turn. I'm more pissed at the unevenness of their treatment and tend to take it out on the liar who lied and stole both when she was a private citizen and when she was a public servant. Maybe I like the underdog liar/crook better?

Im not sure that any of those emails demonstrated "actively rigging the system for her;" and either way I think that it's a stretch to say she had anyone doing anything. I think that the dnc is an establishment and saw Bernie as an outsider. So they talked **** on him musing around ways for him to go away apparently after she had all but locked up the nomination (considering super delegates).

I agree with you that Trump fought against the rnc establishment nearly the entire campaign. And I agree that he is the challenger "liar" versus her being the mainstream and establishment "liar."

The Democrats just fell for Trump's Russian email-hack bait

Grand Theft Convention !

If Hillary had said that about Russians hacking some republican's email, the right would be crying "sedition."

You can book that. And many here would too. The double standard is sad.

TRUMPS IMMUNITY: The point here is not that Trump is guaranteed to win. Clinton maintains a large advertising and organizational advantage over Trump. But she has already dumped $50 million in unanswered advertising on his head, with little movement in the polls.

Plus: What scandal can Clinton use to dissuade his voters from crawling over broken glass and going to the polls this fall? Divorce? Hes had two. Bankruptcy? Four. DUI? He doesnt drink and besides, he has a chauffeur. He gave money to a crooked politician? Yes, and her name is Clinton.

Note to the DNC: Stop blaming Russia. . . . . . . . . . . YOU WROTE THE E-MAILS ! ! !

No, I do not. And I'm saying that as someone who's routinely briefed and "trained" on the legal importance of record retention in the government, who has heard stressed repeatedly "Do not user personal equipment for government work, because it removes federal records from government oversight," and who has seen people escorted out of offices for violating such rules, I understand that what she did is a REALLY big deal for which she would have been indicted if, as the FBI Director said, she were anybody else.

Trump's gotten a pass on his taxes

Really? Did he not submit the required tax records? Or is this one of those "Republicans have to go well above and beyond requirements" like Romney was fallaciously hammered with?

Grand Theft Convention !

This whole Trump in cahoots with the Rooskies sounds like one of Glenn Becks theories. He could do a real job with this one with his college professor outfit and black boards.

Not to mention that it is sort of McCarthyistic.

As someone who sells and implemrnts document, email, process, and records management systems for business and government I agree with Tom. Not to mention that even if you buy that the personal server was OK, she was by law supposed to turn it all over upon leaving the state department which she didn't do for 3 years and wouldn't ever have done if it wasn't found out that she had it.

Why is she qualified if she is extremely careless with classified material? She's a Yale educated lawyer, was on the Watergate committee, and worked for the prestigious Rose Law Firm. Yet she can't figure out how to handle classified information.

"Extremely careless with classified material" is overrated, frankly. The threat to national security pales in comparison to the threat to the very nature of our constitutional government, that she should try to withhold executive records from Congressional oversight. That's real Nixon-level ****.

Anyone remember before Obama was sworn in, the stories about "What will they do about his Blackberry?" Because he couldn't have a personal PDA...because of federal records retention requirements? Can people honestly argue that the Secretary of State should be permitted to run government business on a private email server when the President isn't even permitted to use a Crackberry?

a) Great!

b) Excellent!

c) Fantastic!

d) Incredible!

e) We are not worthy to be in the presence of such greatness!

f) All of the above and then some!

I genuinely don't give a **** what anyone thinks about my anti-Trump yelling. He's a buffoon, and so are the chucklemunchers who support him, of which there are plenty, this message board notwithstanding.

I'm sure, but on this board, it's mostly preaching to the choir.
