NDBUFFCUSEFAN Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Watched The Gauntlet starring Clint Eastwood last night, really enjoyed it. I'm glad he did Gran Torino because it got me interested in his previous works and I have enjoyed almost all that I've seen.

Acantha Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 I'm really not sure what topic I'm responding to anymore, but I'll throw out Lucky Number Slevin. I have no idea how it did in theaters, but I don't think it was reviewed well. I thought it was entertaining and the scenes with Freeman and Kingsley were great.

That movie got good reviews, but very few have seen it.
swnybillsfan Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Always liked The Tao of Steve and Grandma's Boy, Also thought Magnolia was very underrated and under appreciated in general. one of my favorites. there are so may parts of that movie that had me laughing out loud with no one around.

Fixxxer Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Rounders  Strange Days  Primal Fear (Edward Norton is great here)
Mark Vader Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Rounders  Strange Days  Primal Fear (Edward Norton is great here) I'll give you the first two, but "Primal Fear" is not a sleeper.  Although it might be a forgotten movie, but that happens when Richard Gere is your leading man.
Maury Ballstein Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Rounders is the best. I thought rounders 2 was in the works with the poker boom from a few years back. Â I used to play way too much poker and "pay that man his money, he beat me" in Malcovich voice was uttered by every drunk for years. Â Â

birdog1960 Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 once - about the busker, not the tv series  stardust - deniro and danes but not a big commercial success.
