Buftex
Not sure if it is my "favorite" (too hard!), but I recently saw "Not Fade Away". It got pretty lukewarm reviews, but I thought it was a great rock-n'roll movie...

KD in CA
Made. Favreau and Vince Vaughan Hysterical flick. Surprised that one didn't get more attention after the success of Swingers.
Wooderson
"Spirited Away". It's animation, but don't let that sway you. It's extremely well done.

Mark Vader
"Spirited Away". It's animation, but don't let that sway you. It's extremely well done. Sorry, but I don't see how anything made by Hayao Miyazaki would be considered a sleeper. Anime has more than just a cult following in this country.
