Fixxxer Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 we suck donkey ass and yet we're winning, awful game so far.
meazza Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 What a goal by Messi. Props to Bosnia for their game. They will definitely pass this group  Argentina (aside from the wonder goal) do not impress me.
John Adams Posted June 16, 2014 Author Posted June 16, 2014 The color guy had it right. Argentina is trying out the 352 and looked completely out of sorts in the first half using it. When they switched back to the 442, they took over the game. That Bosnia goal was against the run of play in the second half. Â Messi had an OK game for him but quite a few bad giveaways, obviously neutralized by the great goal and some spectacular play late in the game.
meazza Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Bosnia also switched to a 4-2-4 which made any sort of possession game impossible.

I know they were in the christmas tree for a while but I missed that switch if it happened at the start of the second half. Â Whatever they did, the second half was much more dominated by Argentina.
BuffaloBillsForever Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 German midfield is going to have it's way with Portugal. Â Ozil with two goals, Muller with the third. Â 3-0 Germany
Magox Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 It appears to me that the Europeans, generally speaking are having a tougher time coping with the heat and humidity, this could bode well for the US vs. Germany and Portugal.

John Adams Posted June 16, 2014 Author Posted June 16, 2014 (edited) Tough game to open but a MUST WIN. Â https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DGByZjKkSI&list=PLsAXIYtop5OvDas0t01AzUC5X6CWbsHeT Edited June 16, 2014 by John Adams
Cugalabanza Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Tough game to open but a MUST WIN. Â Â Man, I'm so excited I don't know what to do with myself. I'm gonna have to record the game and watch it around 9pm. Turning my phone off and putting blinders on. I don't know how I'm gonna be able to wait that long. Â Beat Ghana!
Jauronimo Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 I don't like soccer and here's three reasons why you shouldn't either!!! Â Joking aside, I am also quite excited for tonight's USA debut. Ghana has been pushing us around for the last decade. I think its time we import a little democracy and bring these bullies to justice. Â I expect an entertaining game. Both teams strength is on the attack while both defenses are suspect, from what I understand. Should be an open affair. Whichever side finishes is taking the points tonight.
meazza Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 So my strategy of picking 0-0 for every game doesn't seem to be working out.
meazza Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Ah well. Sorry cr7. I guess if you were surrounded by mercenaries you'd be doing better.
Cugalabanza Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 And now a red card for Pepe? Wow! I'm just following updates online, not watching. But wow!
