America's Mideast Policy: "Circle Jerk"

Recommended Posts

the problem wasn't withdrawing, the problem was turning around and supporting the same group in Syria that we had just fought against in Iraq. Assad was right: we really have the same enemy. But we get whipsawed around by our alleged allies like France, Israel and Saudis into fighting their wars, which may or may not (usually not) be in our interest. That more than anything is what accounts for our inconsistent, dangerous, and costly foreign policy

Nice work praising Assad and blaming Israel before this even got to page two. I knew the Israel thing was coming but the timing is impressive. Assad is a nice new twist. Still waiting for Mahmoud's words of wisdom; any estimate on when that will be forthcoming?

Strongly condemn attacks in Mosul by the Islamic State in Iraq and Levant (#ISIL), and its efforts to turn back clock on #Iraq's progress.

You've got to admit, though...the Obama administration has a remarkably complete and thorough understanding of the fundamental superficiality of American society.

Which is like saying Colonel Sanders had a complete and thorough understanding of the chicken.

This is the world people like Obama want. This is the world they need. Generation Selfie: a Honey-boo-boo watching, deep-fried Twinkie eatin', droopy-pants-wearin' Al Bundy wannabe tucked between the left and right audio of a Beats by Dre for no money down.

Right and Wrong On Iraq

In the 2012 election, Mitt Romney expressed concern about Russia and said that he thought the Obama administration’s precipitous withdrawal from Iraq was a mistake. Obama ridiculed Romney’s “Cold War” mentality and claimed the Iraq skedaddle as one of his greatest foreign policy achievements. Here is what Romney said about Iraq:

And here is Jay Carney, earlier today, as ABC’s Jon Karl asks whether Obama still thinks Iraq is one of his greatest achievements:

You goons. We never should have gone into Iraq in the first place. Why don't address that? We couldn't stay because we can't afford. Maybe you if morons earned enough to pay taxes you'd realize how bloated our budget is .... And no its not all "welfare" when this country's defense budget is larger than the next 10 countries....combined.

The simple and obvious story is a) we should not have gone in, b) could not stay, and c) should have not supported the so-called "rebels" in Syria. Bush and Obama administration's both share culpability, stop with the one -sided partisan nonsense.

The money the government just spent to build 6 bases and support is un believable. My sons company won the contracts. Have not talked to him to see what is going on. I hope he has no travel plans to go over.

You are an unbelievable moron. You criticize people's opinions on the matter without taking any time to find out what those opinions actually are.

Conan O'Brien last evening:

"George HW Bush turned 90 and celebrated by skydiving. So, if you include Obama there were two presidents in free fall today”

.

LOL that is funny

Seriously though it's not pretty. Im worried about financial markets with oil rising, and if analysts start extrapolating out chance of widening conflicts in mideast or Ukraine ... big sell offs.

Remember Iran, that country that's the root of all evil? No doubt developing nuclear weapons to kill us all? Well now US is poised to offer air support for their ground troops in Iraq ... LOL
