Both said they would be something done, neither have accomplished anything. Hard to have much faith in the Federal Government these days. The American people will not allow for anything approaching amnesty until border security is assured. Obama has no desire to solve any immigration issues. He likes having immigration as an issue to bash his opposition. Meanwhile, he's busing/flying people caught at the Texas border to cities well within our borders. Building a gigantic government sponsored wall seems like the Conservative fit of keeping illegals out (upholding the law), and would be a huge jobs program for the unemployed in Texas, AZ, CALI, NM, which he Democrats would get all hot in the ass for. The problem isn't securing the border so much as dealing with the illegals already here. And no one's willing to budge on the "amnesty" issue. Even a true compromise - a fast-track path to citizenship for long-term illegal residents - is seen as unfair by both sides of the aisle - Republicans don't want to absolve everyone of illegal acts, even though the complete inability to deport that many people is a de facto absolution. And Democrats don't want to "discriminate" against long-term residents by so much as implying their residency is illegal. Both sides of the aisle are retarded. What do you think will happen when 230,000 illegals enter the United States in the next two years? Do you really think unemployment will go down when there are more cheap laborers? Of course not! Those are the Department of Justice's statistics, not mine. They are admitting that a quarter of a million illegals will enter the country in the next year or two, and they are doing NOTHING to stop it! They are laying out the welcome mat and giving these illegals attorneys to fight the law! Now pay attention, because this is important. Not only is the Obama administration refusing to deport these illegal alien criminals, but now they have actually assigned lawyers to help them apply for legal status. It doesn't get more lawless than that! President Obama is simply doing what he wants, completely shredding the law and the constitution in the process. He has a duty under the United States Constitution to "faithfully execute" the law. Does anyone really think that giving these illegals attorneys is within the scope or spirit of the law??? This lawlessness must be stopped! Congress has the power to compel the President to uphold the law and it must do so! The President doesn't have the authority to spend one cent unless Congress gives him permission. While impeachment would be justified, Congress can be equally as compelling just by cutting off the Obama administration's funding for certain projects until the border is secured! There are rumors of local sheriffs creating posses of armed civilians to enforce the laws along the Southern Border that the Obama administration completely ignores. All personnel working or visiting detention facilities at the Nogales Station will be required to turn off these electronic devices and store them in a locker other secure location prior to entering the detention area." According to sources, agents have been threatened with firings if found to have leaked the photos to media. "They are looking to fire any agents involved," one source said anonymously for fear of losing their job.\ "Apparently they are so ticked over these photos that they are going to fire the person that leaked them," another source said.
