I mean they couldn't have for seen every situation. Like they couldn't have for seen our education system being infiltrated by leftists leading to our media being corrupted thus making it possible for a marxist to get elected. Now I know the founders didn't specifically account for this but can't we assume that they would be miffed? And by the way, I view the left wing infiltration of academia as a building block of a left wing coup. Which is pretty much what s happening at this point. Well, sure. We can always attempt to pretend like we'd know what the Founders would do in any hypothetical situation, and pretend that they wrote the document with their intentions being that we can shift the meanings of their carfully chosen words to mean whatever we want them to mean; but they specifically told us not to do that, and provided us, instead, with a method by which we can amend the Document in question, because they knew that as times changed, new challenges would surface, that weren't covered in the origional Document. As I said, any attemps to divine, insinuate, or co-opt what the "Founders would do", are an absolute authorization of the "living document" catastrophe, and a validation of everything our current government does; because when you say the meaning is open to interpretation, their interpretation is as valid as yours. He was referring to the children’s crusade on our borders that has caused chaos as tens of thousands of people try to illegally enter America - a crisis he has created by lax, or no-enforcement, of our immigration laws and by issuing executive orders that basically re-created the Dream Act - a law that could not pass Congress. He somehow thinks he can keep the Senate by firing up his base, but he apparently doesn't realize he needs more than his base at this point because so many in his base or hurting. So one day he suddenly finds guy who killed Brian Terry, and then one day he finds the guy who killed Christopher Stevens, and one day he blames everyone else for the illegals streaming into the country, and one day he blames SCOTUS for taking away a women's right to get birth control from their employer. OK Congressman Jim Bridenstine forbidden from entering facility where WH is housing immigrant children. “There is no excuse for denying a Federal Representative from Oklahoma access to a federal facility in Oklahoma where unaccompanied children are being held,” Rep. Jim Bridenstine said in a statement following his visit Tuesday to Ft. Sill Army base near Lawton. The Department of Health and Human Services has set up housing at Ft. Sill and two other military bases – Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio and Ventura County Naval Base in Oxnard, Cali. – to house thousands of unaccompanied alien children, or UACs, who were apprehended at the southern U.S. border. Bridenstine went to Ft. Sill to observe the conditions under which the 1,200 UACs there are living and to find out to whom they would be released. But when he showed up at the facility, Bridenstine says he was told by a guard with a security unit which calls itself the “Brown Shirts” that he could not observe the children or their living conditions. Has anyone made the connection to how fresh these kids are after traveling on foot for 1200 or so miles through rough territory and the fact that no one is allowed to talk with them? His signature "accomplishment" fell flat on its face when the 30 million Americans without healthcare insurance didn't sign up under Obortioncare. He's got to fill that quota with new enrollees from SOMEWHERE. When he talked about getting 30 million Americans healthcare coverage for the first time, it's not HIS fault that we didn't understand what he meant.
