"We just got word:

A right-wing casino mogul just wrote a $5,OOO,OOO.OO check to Boehner’s SuperPAC. Now get ready for Boehner to start blasting TVs across the country with more Obama-bashing ads.

This comes as a MAJOR blow to our Democratic campaigns who were already getting ambushed by Republican attacks. Frankly, we weren’t prepared for this.

Our budget deadline is in just a few hours. And we’re coming up $183,OOO short. If we can’t get to our goal now, we can just throw in the towel. Go home. Give up."

It's be just like a liberal to come $183K short of a $5M goal, and decide they were going to give up, go home, and take their $4,8M with them.

Obama administration announces it will recognize gay marriage in Alaska, Arizona, Idaho, North Carolina, West Va and Wyoming.

It's time for these six states to prepare for the Barack Obama LGBT Campaign Money-Grabbing Tour!

No one loves LGBT money like Barry.

Well, that's !@#$ing bull ****. The federal government has no business making that determination.

The dangers of incorporation are widely under-appreciated.

However, there's money to be made in pandering, so our Nobel Prize winning President is clearly the leader he wants to be.

Poll: Midterm momentum belongs to GOP.

Republicans enter the final week of the midterm campaign holding higher ground than the Democrats, aided by public dissatisfaction with President Obama’s leadership, with the overall direction of the country and with the federal government’s ability to deal with major problems, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll.

Driving attitudes is a pervasive sense of a country in trouble. Overwhelming majorities say the country is badly off-track and give the economy negative ratings. Economic expectations are little better today than they were at this time four years ago.

Six in 10 say they cannot trust the government in Washington to do what is right — the same as a year ago in the aftermath of the government shutdown and the botched rollout of the federal Web site for the Affordable Care Act.

With multiple crises confronting the country — including the spread of Ebola in West Africa and cases here at home, as well as threats from Islamic State militants — a majority now says the government’s ability to deal with big problems has declined in the past few years.
Among those who say this, more — by 3 to 1 — blame Obama and the Democrats rather than Republicans in Congress.

Well, that’s who’s been in charge for the past 6 years. And the GOP hasn’t controlled Congress since 2006.

When the Repubs take over the Senate and bills start/finally get passed, then we'll see who the obstructionists really were.

Here’s the full text of Jenkins’ comments, made at a press conference on July 29, 2014, as the final week of the congressional session was winding down:

"The president is fond of referring to the House as the ‘do-nothing Congress.’ But we have 352 reasons why it’s a ‘do-Nothing Senate.’

"352 bills are sitting on Harry Reid’s desk, awaiting action.

"98 percent of them passed with bipartisan support -- Republicans and Democrats working together to pass legislation.

"50 percent of the bills passed unanimously, with no opposition.

"70 percent of the bills passed with two-thirds support in the House.

"And over 55 bills were introduced by Democrats.

"352 bills. Why won’t Harry Reid act? These are good bills; bills that put the American people back to work, put more money in hardworking Americans pockets, help with education, and skills training. We call upon Harry Reid to get to work before he adjourns in August to pass some of these bills. The American people deserve better."

Priebus came out this week to announce a Republican Senate will do whatever it has to do to keep Obama from granting amnesty to millions through executive order. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that rallying cry this final week because let's face it, even Democrats are against this.

If we're lucky, Obama's last two years will be golfing, pardoning turkeys, and explaining how he learned about important events by watching the news.
