Would really suck to work across the street

Fortunately, the world's much more stable and peaceful now, and it's just social media's fault.

Half the Libyan state airline is missing. They're expecting some sort of attack on the 11th.

Maybe not in NYC...but no, I am not making that up.

Maybe Malaysian Air can give the Libyans tips on how to find their missing planes.

That's a bit disconcerting.

Lets wargame. What are potential targets?

The Suez? Oil Fields?

Could they make it across the Med to Naples? Or across Ethiopia to Djibouti?

American Carriers and significant land based sites near airports to cause confusion.

Carriers are a small moving target with a CAP and surface to air missiles. WWII Kamikazes had a low hit rate and they flew at a much lower altitude and were considerably more agile than a commercial jetliner.

If they hit anything, it will be a stationary target that doesn't shoot back

So you're suggesting it will be a Liberal target?

Let's all meet in TriBeCa on the 11th.

If the planes take off from Libya they will use up much of their fuel before they get past most European capitals. I think Rome, Paris, London, and Berlin would be opportune targets as would the US bases in Germany.

You know these azz hats are going to strike again.

Foot of Greenwich St?

BTW, no one's been screaming about the Ground Zero mosque lately, and construction is moving right along.

Rome possibly, but Paris, London, and Germany would spend too long over sovereign airspace. Somebody might notice the large unidentified aircraft on the radar screen. Longer they spend over the Med or North Africa, the greater the element of surprise

Stop giving them ideas dammit!!!

Meh...I would just crash an a320 or two into a nuclear power plant/s somewhere in southern Europe near the Med coast to limit the amount of time in that counties airspace reducing the chance of an intercept. That would cause chaos in europe.

Or change out the transmitter in the a330, fly to somewhere in the UAE and then follow the well established and busy air route from DXB to LHR and there ya go...

Good luck with that. Even an A380 is likely to do little more than bounce off a containment dome.

Would still cause chaos, though, as everyone panicked.
