Today is also the Roots Picnic with among others The Roots & Janelle Monae...may head out there.

The Philly Made in America festival is very underwhelming this year so I'll probably stay away

Truly . . . L.A. has a much better line up.... Weezer, Sublime . . .even Imagine Dragons . . .

i've never been to this but family members rave about it. http://www.rochesterjazz.com/artist_lineup/?artist_id=1071 would be a nice reason to make the trip to WNY. only thing that puts me off a bit is that it looks like each show has it's own ticket. don't they do general admission? seems like it would end up being expensive. for anybody going, i can't recommend steep canyon rangers enough. i'm not sure whether i'd rather see them with or without steve martin and edie brick ell.

post those that you're interested in or that look exciting to you here. for starters: http://www.floydfest.com

I was there last year and had a great time.

imo, this festival is more organized (they have been doing it a while) and more family friendly than some of the others that I have attended.

If you go, feel free to stop by at my wife's food trailer http://www.moniquescrepes.com/ and mention you are a Bills fan and ask for Tony. I should be around somewhere and will get you a complimentary crepe. She should be in the food area when you approach the main stage.

I did not go but it looks like I would enjoy it. Unfortunately, this year I will not make it either as it falls on the same weekend as, imo, the best wine and oyster festival in VA at Stratford Hall http://www.stratfordhall.org/event/stratford-hall-wine-and-oyster-festival/ and my wife will be working there.
