SuperBills12 Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 Nobody's brought it up, but man having T.O. back could be the extra juice the Eagles need for an upset...his leg healed?
Like A Mofo Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 Nobody's brought it up, but man having T.O. back could be the extra juice the Eagles need for an upset...his leg healed? 216716 Bradshaw asked Reid if Owens will play and Reid said yes...take that for what its worth
Fezmid Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 He was bouncing around the sidelines all through the game. Given an extra 2 weeks, I wouldn't be surprised to see him play. CW
KRC Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 Unless he does something absolutely stupid over the next 2 weeks, he will play.
Ray Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 I hope so to make the game somewhat entertaining. The Pats will shut him down too. Somehow, the Pats are playing two rookies as CBs (one an undrafted free agent) a guy out of the NFL until 10 days ago and a 4th round pick last year as their DBs. Still with that group they have shut down Manning w/o even a TD and now the Steelers and their three great WRs. Now that is great great coaching!!
duey Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 Hey...he may be a dick, but he's no John Abraham. He'll play.
col_forbin Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 He will play, and be a non-factor as the Pats will crush the igles.
gantrules Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 I think the Eagles D can play with anyone. I love this matchup. Two very good, very playoff experienced QB's. Two of the best RB's in the game. Two great offenses, two great defenses. It's gonna be an awesome game and it could either be high scoring or low scoring.
Ozymandius Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 If TO plays, he'll be a factor because he'll at least be a red zone threat, which is important for the Eagles because I think Chad Lewis got injured yesterday. It's possible he could win a jumpball or two.
stevestojan Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 Unless he does something absolutely stupid over the next 2 weeks, he will play. 216738 so, he's questionable?
IDBillzFan Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 He was bouncing around the sidelines all through the game. Given an extra 2 weeks, I wouldn't be surprised to see him play. CW 216736 Absolutely. Did you see him on the bench, jumping up and down? I'm surprised he didn't play yesterday. Not that they needed him.
KRC Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 so, he's questionable? 216819 I may be giving him a little too much credit, but even TO is not that stupid, to jeopardize his health before a Super Bowl. His did some dumb things, which set back his recovery timetable or he would have been playing this week.
JoeF Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 Let's see -- one of the world's biggest hams with an opportunity to perform on the world's biggest stage...if the leg/ankle/fibula is only on life support--he will find a way to play. He's already thinking about a Rod Tidwell like TD catch and what he's going to do to celebrate.
taterhill Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 I may be giving him a little too much credit, but even TO is not that stupid, to jeopardize his health before a Super Bowl. His did some dumb things, which set back his recovery timetable or he would have been playing this week. 216830 what did he do?
KRC Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 what did he do? 216851 He tried to rush back, resulting in setbacks in his recovery. The injury is now taking longer to heal.
TigerJ Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 Reid's comment represents a reasonable hope rather than an iron clad promise. I hope he'll be ready to, and I think he probably will play, but I don't think it can be absolutely known yet.
JoeF Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Rod Tidwell Owens Spiritually healed....help me help you....
