Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement, teams may conduct a total of 10 days of organized team practice activity, or OTAs, during Phase Three. No live contact is permitted, but 7-on-7, 9-on-7 and 11-on-11 drills are permitted. It marks the first time in the offseason that team offense versus team defense drills can take place. OTAs: What to watch for With each passing season there is roster turnover in the NFL. Between expiring contracts, free agency and the draft an NFL roster averages change of about 25-30 percent. That leads to changing roles in all three phases where young players step up into bigger roles and veteran additions step into vacant roles. Below we take a closer look at the players to track as OTAs begin Wednesday and run right up to mandatory minicamp in mid-June. Especially a rookie. That first season must be a lifetime when forced to sit and rehab and sit and rehab and watch etc

Surprised they don't all just wear knee braces all the time. The ACL must be the mist common season ender in the game.
