If you're being realistic about someone whose worth will give them enough clout to afford a team, the list is small.

Bob Dylan? Dude is from a small midwestern town. But he's also been at death's door a few times already. Maybe not the wisest investment.

The Boss is a pretty good one. Maybe Jagger, but Buffalo isn't really very cosmopolitan.

And if Mariah Carey bought Jets would make one heck of a rivalry

no worries Madonna could take her, Mariah way to whiny, Madonna would just laugh at her... imagine Madonna likely would bring in Mark Messier to teach leadership and winning to guys. Madonna would instruct coaches to teach players to take no crap from anyone. We would clearly rule.

Since we are fantasizing here, McCartney has the money (one of the very wealthiest people in entertainment, a net worth of close to 2 billion...thought it might be more) and has shown some interest in American sports over the last couple of years, mostly the NBA. His hometown of Liverpool, I believe, is considered a "sister city" to Buffalo. Despite his extreme wealth, I am assured by a Liverpudlian friend of mine, that McCartney is the only Beatle to ever really "give back" to the town he grew up in, in any consistent way. A game in Liverpool every year, anyone?

My opinion of Bon Jovi is of course a little biased due to the toronto angle, but even without that don't think I'd want him part of bills ownership group. Think he's kind of a twerp and a has-been, overall just kinda lame.

So I was thinking which rock star would I want part of Bills? And I came up with:

TED NUGENT

Which is odd because I don't like his politics, but I admit he's entertaining. I think his crazy attitude would add some energy to the franchise. He'd get in the faces of owner-bullies like kraft and Jones, be a nice change since we're always dumped on by them. And he's a hyper American patriot who'd never see the team moving to Canada
