Who are the best Bills players to ever play at each BCS School? It is their career as Bills that matter when considering. I will list the schools and a few off the top of my head to get the list started. Feel free to contribute any or dispute any and we will try to come up with a list of the best Bills player from each. jimmy10 Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 What, no love for the Ivy League? Fitz went to Harvard, dontchaknow. I'll throw Wray Carlton in there for Duke. Soon to be overtaken by Ross Cockrell!
Kirby Jackson Posted May 22, 2014 Author Posted May 22, 2014 Took my shot above. I left UT blank because I think that I like Travis Henry or even Peerless Price over Greer but I will defer to the masses.
boyst Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Harvard - Fitz Cornell - ? Shirley we have someone MAC gets no love? Bowling Green Kent Akron Toledo Miami Ohio Northern Illinois Eastern Michigan Western Michigan Central Michigan Buffalo Ball state
Tsaikotic Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Coe College - Fred Jackson Pittsburgh State - Brian Morman
Max997 Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 (edited) NC State - Jim Ritcher UNC - Thomas Smith Standford - James Lofton (but think there is someone else) Mississippi St - Kent Hull Tennessee - Travis Henry or Peerless Price? Arizona - John Fina (but has to be someone better) Edited May 22, 2014 by Max997
Tsaikotic Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 syracuse - Al Bemiller C/G/T 1961 draft ...started for Bills from 1961 - 1969 mostly at C

Believe it or not Fina and Thomas Smith were two that I was originally going to add (same with Bledsoe) but I was hoping someone else would confirm those before inking them.
yungmack Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Harvard - Fitz Cornell - ? Shirley we have someone MAC gets no love? Bowling Green Kent Akron Toledo Miami Ohio Northern Illinois Eastern Michigan Western Michigan Central Michigan Buffalo Ball state From Cornell, Pete Gogolak, who revolutionized the kicking game. And Jerry Butler nicely fills the Clemson spot (for now).
thebandit27 Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 I left UT blank because I think that I like Travis Henry or even Peerless Price over Greer but I will defer to the masses. I went with Greer for (a) longevity and (b) Superbowl ring

Its a shame Fina got forced to play LT when Bills lost Wilford to the loophole bc i think he was drafted to play Guard which he most likely would have been better at then LT +1 on Antoine Winfield for Ohio St although we could put Chris Spielman there just because
Kirby Jackson Posted May 22, 2014 Author Posted May 22, 2014 I went with Greer for (a) longevity and (b) Superbowl ring It is for their service in a Bills uniform only. I apologize for the confusion. I did not want to have to consider the likes of Shawne Merriman and people like that (even though I love Light's Out).

That makes it much tougher...although IMO it eliminates Peerless from the conversation and boils it down to Greer and Henry.

Travis Henry is the most unappreciated Bills back that we've ever had, and likely our 3rd best RB, ever. He is right there with Fred Jackson, at least at this point. And I am probably the biggest Fred Jackson fan around. OJ and Thurman were better, but Henry was outstanding. #we'vehadgoodbacks Edited May 22, 2014 by jboyst62
