Dorkington Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 He's a bit anti social, and doesn't like attention... No surprise.
Big Turk Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 I heard Obamas blurb this morning on WGR..said he wished Lynch was there so he could learn how he deals with the media the way he does, lmao... He's a bit anti social, and doesn't like attention... No surprise. Doesn't mind running people over tho, lol

Kirby Jackson Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Must have heard they dont allow people to add their own booze to the drinks they serve This just made me spit my drink out (it to has my own booze in it). "I'm about that action boss"
Security Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Well, he cannot really speak in coherent sentences and barely understands questions he is asked, but good self awareness.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 He knows he wouldnt have passed the background/security check CBF
Drop Kick Flutie Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 His right not to go, I'm still a little pissed that a bunch of liberals who aren't even hockey fans ran Tim Thomas out of Boston for having the gall to not attend because he disagreed with his policies.

There's zero truth in your post but you are just living up to the standard of the news you watch.
leh-nerd skin-erd Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 There's zero truth in your post but you are just living up to the standard of the news you watch. i'm admittedly getting old and cranky, but i have no issues with a guy not wanting to attend the wh meeting. whether it's social anxiety, political differences of opinion, or you're meeting friends on Chippewa to hit on Canadian chicks--who really cares. on the other hand, the thought that somehow your news is better than someone else's news seems kinda silly, especially since my news is better.
Drop Kick Flutie Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 There's zero truth in your post but you are just living up to the standard of the news you watch. This has nothing to do with news, I live outside of Boston, I went to school in Boston. I know it first hand.
oman128 Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 (edited) Well, he cannot really speak in coherent sentences and barely understands questions he is asked, but good self awareness. I Would like to see his transcript from Cal. Did he just attend or did he graduate? Frankly, I'd like to see the transcripts for all the players, along with their 40 times, bench press etc. Strange how that education report gets left out, unless they are a Rhode Scholar. They never tell you, Johnny can't read, but he can sack the QB. Edited May 22, 2014 by oman128
PO'14 Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Tim Thomas can suck an egg and Lynch can suck it after Thomas is done with it! You might not like the policies or a certain President but the Country ( in this case U.S. ) that they live in grants the freedom to earn millions of dollars playing a sport in a free country!

You might not like the policies or a certain President but the Country ( in this case U.S. ) that they live in grants the freedom to earn millions of dollars playing a sport in a free country! ...and because of this you're required to visit the White House for a 5 minute photo op?
C.Biscuit97 Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 This has nothing to do with news, I live outside of Boston, I went to school in Boston. I know it first hand. You start rambling about liberals and that had nothing to do with anything. Thomas "retired" because Rask was upcoming and hte writing was on the wall. He also stated it had nothing to do with one political party but politics on a whole. So you just kinda insert facts that weren't true. Tim Thomas can suck an egg and Lynch can suck it after Thomas is done with it! You might not like the policies or a certain President but the Country ( in this case U.S. ) that they live in grants the freedom to earn millions of dollars playing a sport in a free country! I totally agree with you on those. The problem with this country is lack of respect for authority. I don't care who the President is, you can still respect the office. We live in country where fair too many people root against the President. i'm admittedly getting old and cranky, but i have no issues with a guy not wanting to attend the wh meeting. whether it's social anxiety, political differences of opinion, or you're meeting friends on Chippewa to hit on Canadian chicks--who really cares. on the other hand, the thought that somehow your news is better than someone else's news seems kinda silly, especially since my news is better. Haha. Personally, I skip the news as much as possible. Most stations are slanted to a particular base. Unfortunately, we live in a society where too many people can't think for themselves and just believe everything they hear is gospel.
eball Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 His right not to go, I'm still a little pissed that a bunch of liberals who aren't even hockey fans ran Tim Thomas out of Boston for having the gall to not attend because he disagreed with his policies. Seriously? I hadn't heard about any of this, but if you're an American and you have an opportunity to meet the President, politics has absolutely nothing to do with it. If Thomas really didn't go because he disagreed with Obama's politics, he's a jackass. Marshawn is just a moron, plain and simple. He can tote the rock and run people over, but he's a moron.
PO'14 Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 ...and because of this you're required to visit the White House for a 5 minute photo op? There was a time when it was an honour to visit the White House. And I believe for 98% of the players, it still is! For the other 2%, they can suck an egg! ( in Canada its called the Parliament Hill and I would love to be visit even though I hate Harper )

boyst Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 If I had something better to do I might skip it, too. It's time to cut hay and do stuff, not sit back on your laurels about last years harvest. Tim Thomas can suck an egg and Lynch can suck it after Thomas is done with it! You might not like the policies or a certain President but the Country ( in this case U.S. ) that they live in grants the freedom to earn millions of dollars playing a sport in a free country! so why should i have to take my time to meet a president? whats so special about him? presidents are nothing more then american idol on steroids. #VoteForSanjaya
