So you're saying he's signed??

If I'm reading the article correctly, yes. If I'm wrong, or missing something, well, thats kind of normal for me !!

Well, I feel old. John Murphy interviewed him tonight and mentioned a few NFL players who were also from Alaska. He brought up Mark Schlereth's name. Holley had never heard of him.

It's a revolving door this time of the year. I don't get too excited about anything during the summer. As an aside, I know he wasn't good enough, but I was rooting for Jasper. Oh well, good thing I'm not a Bills coach.

6'4" and 200 lbs. Maybe they'll have him bulk up and put 25lbs on so he can try out for......ohhh wait, forget it.

Caleb says he is only 6' 2" while on the John Murphy Show

Yep, his pro day scouting notes said he was 6'2. Bills being generous.

Ran a 4.62 40...

Hardly seems like NFL speed

You're right. That's why Steve Largent never played in the NFL or was inducted in the Hall of Fame. Oh, wait...

Largent was also clocked at 4.6 coming out of college and was once called "The Caucasian Clydesdale" be Lester "They Call Me Assassin" Hayes. Curiously, despite being slower than a 3 legged hippo, Largent averaged 23.5 yards on his 100 TD receptions.

Holley's vertical, 3 cone drill and broad jump are all better than most the numbers posted by the WRs invited to the combine. He might not be fast but he is an athlete.
