Rubes Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 AdamSchefter Bears reached agreement with 3rd-rd pick Will Sutton; Chicago exec Cliff Stein is first one this year to have his full draft class signed. 5/15/14, 7:39 AM Wow, that's impressive. Has anyone else even started yet?
Maybe Someday Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 The rookie cap basically states what each pick will make so it's not a shock. Do all rookies need to be under contract before they can participate in OTAs?

Do all rookies need to be under contract before they can participate in OTAs? No, they get a letter or some such stating they will get what they normally have received in case of injury during OTA's. There has been some noise about the NFLPA maybe asking that to change to no contract, no practice. As evidenced bu this, should be able to get it accomplished quick now
Big Turk Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 There is some bantering back and forth as to how much is guarenteed, bonuses, etc especially with mid round picks, but its not a situation where there will be holdouts...its relatively easy to do and most GMs probably don't have it high on their list right now or delegated it to assistant GMs
White Linen Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 This is how you know you had a bad draft... Haha, good point.
CountryCletus Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Maybe they drafted a munch of broke ass kids that needed money now....
