AltoonaPaBillsFan Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 No regrets! I most certainly was surprised with the first pick and imho Whaley has us headed in the right direction. For the first time in years I feel comfotable heading into the draft since we now have direction.
beggar13 Posted May 11, 2014 Author Posted May 11, 2014 I just don't understand why it made any sense to do that trade? Really, it essentially said, "we don't feel like picking anyone" I guess they just wanted an extra 5th next year since they are going to be short on picks as it is.
juno999 Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 None really. If I had to pick one would be....trading the fifth instead of picking Murray or a different QB. Had the same thought
Dante Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 I would have liked to see them grab the LSU qb Metzenberger. Other than that, it's a A for me
Dante Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Once again, we WIN THE OFFSEASON!!! I don't think I would have said that last draft though. Manuel was a obvious reach then and he remains so.
Alphadawg7 Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 What's your biggest regret about this year's draft? Mine is that we weren't able to get a big TE with good hands and a bit of speed. Other than that, I'm good. Shouldn't be regretful of that because we already have that on the roster. Gragg has all that, plus we have Moeaki. I wanted ASJ too or Amaro in the 2nd as well because I wanted more assurance that a TE of this type would emerge here this year, but also knew OL was much more of a need. In the end, I think this year Gragg will get more opportunity and so will Moeaki to become a bigger part of the offense. Time will tell if they can step it up, but the athletic ability is there, especially in Gragg.
