Kenny Ladler @ FS might be better than D. Williams or J. Meeks. Heck he's already better than Searcy.

Ladler has a legit shot to make the roster, but a starting safety he's not.

 

He's what I call a downhill safety; he's very good at driving on a pass catcher's shoulder at the point of the route--it leads to a lot of pass break ups and makes him an effective mid-level safety. To me, he's not rangy enough to play as a high safety or strong enough in run support to play down in the box full time.

 

Role player and ST IMO, but I still think he makes the roster.
