Coach Klein Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Why the hell does every decent player need to have a nickname?
Mark Vader Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Galvatron. Reformatted version of Megatron. That I like.
NastyNateSoldiers Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 (edited) How bout Feastmode, He kind of looks and plays like Marshawn Lynch but instead of beastn on his opponents he'll be Feasting on cb´s I also love Galvatron Edited June 9, 2014 by NastyNateSoldiers
SJDK Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 How bout 7/11? Seriously, let's let a guy earn a nickname for once. I'm calling him Samuel
buffalover4life Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 (edited) Super Sammy Super sam The Sam Man Edited June 9, 2014 by buffalover4life
Pilsner Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Sammy's biological dad is Sammy Watkins III so I suppose he could be called Son of Sam. But perhaps that isn't too catchy. Maybe SW4. Or Son of Sammy. Or Sammy Watkins.
HamSandwhich Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 I must be a casual fan. : ) i thought Willy Wonka ish at first. in a nice way of course You're more than a casual fan in my heart... I I like the concept, but am not a fan of how it sounds--kinda sounds like something I would say in a "baby talk" voice. Lol, I think I'm going to refer to him as Wunderkins from now on. Just becuase of this I also think you should be prenouncing it "vunderkins"
Not at the table Karlos Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Really, nobody likes Sammy "The Bill" ? Sammy "The Bull" Sammy "The Bill" Lol so he can go tell the patriots our playbook. No thanks
judman Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Although I really like the sound to SWAT-kins, it sounds like he's a CB or an incompetent receiver who doesn't catch but swats the ball. Yeah, like JJ Watt (often referred to as JJ SWATT)... who plays for the Houston Texans, swats balls out of the air and has had that nickname for at least a year or two. I don't like the 'SWAT' angle. We are better than those in Seattle who took our "12th Man" monicker.
Dibs Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 MEGA-WATT! Go Bills! I quite like that. Best so far IMO.
filthymcnasty08 Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Mega-Watt - feels like a winner right there. Sammy the Bill - honorable mention for clever.
Ramblin' Rob Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Why the hell does every decent player need to have a nickname? I feel like a curmudgeon, but I agree! Threads like this, to me, highlight our desperation as a fan base to be relevant. The best nicknames happen organically; Thurmanator, K-gun, Bruuuuuuuce! Crappy ones are contrived in pre-season- Thurmal, Thurmas, and every nick name used in a preseason thread over the past 15 years. For real though, every year there is a "What will our offense be called?" thread, or a "Lets nick name our first round pic!" thread. What did we decide EJ's nickname would be last summer? I know people do it for fun, but in Buffalo, some times bad ideas catch on! As a public service, don't put bad Ideas out there!
