3rdand12 Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 There are lots of players on their board with the exact same grade. I seriously doubt teams do very much to differentiate rounds 5, 6 and 7. He traded one pick for two, with a bigger benfit next year. No drama here, nothing wrong with the trade either. well you might be wrong. teams draft for a guy they feel they can get the most from based upon background , division . coordinator , level of competition. ability of players around him. etc. Scouts dont rest. ever.
ganesh Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Nix and Marv were way too old school and felt you just stay where you are at most of the time and let things fall where they may Its nice having someone that goes after what he wants and isn't afraid to make things happen instead of waiting for them to happen This is a very un-pittsburgh way of doing things. Pittsburgh lets the draft come to them and rarely go on a shopping spree. I am glad Whaley is doing what he thinks is best for the Bills to become a playoff teams, but surprised based on where his roots were.
