Bangarang Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 An animal that does 21 reps on the bench? Is he a koala bear? An animal that shows up when the pads are popping on an actual field.
26CornerBlitz Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 @buffalobills Whaley: #Bills had a RD1 grade on Cyrus Kouandjio. "Prototypical right tackle" pic.twitter.com/2BOhnv80rF Whaley: #Bills trust their medical evaluation regarding knee injuries for Koundjio. No bearing on his long-term future.
bladiebla Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Why? Fills a BIG need and he's a first round talent who slipped due to injury. Big reward potential here Big bust potential too. That said I like the gamble.
KOKBILLS Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Nice! But dude looks about as happy as Gilmore was when the Bills picked him lol He was pissed about dropping...He said it...The interviewer asked him if it was a warning to the rest of the league and he said..."Yes it is..."
Erik Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 He looked and sounded mad the bills picked him. His interview made it seem worse I think he was more upset about where he got picked. Sounds like he's ready to bash heads though, which is good.
Kelly the Dog Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 How did La Contora know 10 minutes before the pick and three teams hadnt picked, including another trade?
bananathumb Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Many, many issues. You don't pick someone like this in second round. Unless you're B'Lo.
TakeYouToTasker Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Cordy Glenn 2.0 Gotta believe this pick was heavily influenced by Buddy Nix. Love the pick.

Lurker Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 I like the pick a lot. There were 3-4 guys I would have been happy with and he was probably the top one. Plus to get an extra 5th was a terrific deal, even though 5ths don't usually pan out. Me too. Nice bookends at the OT position now. Plus, package the 5th with their 3rd and move up 4-5 slots in the 3rd for a TE....(fingers crossed)
DC Grid Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Love the pick, love that he's pissed he dropped. Good nastiness for a RT. Scares me that the Bills are drafting exactly what I would....this never happens.
nucci Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Big bust potential too. That said I like the gamble. Why? Very highly rated T
BuffaninATL Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 What injury did he have? arthritic knee, cleared by Doc Andrews. not a big deal. I am sure we did our homework.
MrLocke Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Hate it! Feel almost as bad as I did after the Roscoe Parrish pick. I said when Roscoe came out he was too small to ever be a #1 or #2 receiver and you only use 2nd round picks on guys who can be a #1 or #2 receiver. That 5.6 40 time is just too trouble for me. Might be able to play guard, but never tackle! I want to be wrong!
gobillsinytown Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 He looked and sounded mad the bills picked him. His interview made it seem worse He looked more nervous than mad........
JM57 Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 (edited) why? Knee injury concerns at age 21 is disheartening. In the "deepest draft in years" you want to make sure your 2nd round pick is a LONG-TERM starter. That's really all it is for me. Edited May 10, 2014 by JM57
OldTimer1960 Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 I like the gamble on a 1st round talent with a question on health. Certain that the Bills' Doctors were comfortable with him.
nucci Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 How did La Contora know 10 minutes before the pick and three teams hadnt picked, including another trade? NFL Network and ESPN are way behind. CBS App on my phone is 2-3 picks ahead of TV
gobillsinytown Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 arthritic knee, cleared by Doc Andrews. not a big deal. I am sure we did our homework. I think that by the time college players get to the draft, they all have some sort of medical issue. Especially lineman.
