Using the go against Jimmy "the Greek" method, our chances of being right went way.
26CornerBlitz Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 CNNSI - Sammy Watkins selected No. 4 by Buffalo Bills after trade with Cleveland Browns: http://nfl.si.com/20...2014-nfl-draft/
Dorkington Posted May 9, 2014 Author Posted May 9, 2014 C+ From SB Nation (5th? lowest grade) http://www.sbnation.com/nfl-mock-draft/2014/5/9/5698154/2014-nfl-draft-grades-blake-bortles-johnny-manziel This is great! Using the go against Jimmy "the Greek" method, our chances of being right went way. I hope this is one of those many times when the "experts" are dead wrong.
RyanC883 Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 (edited) they will all be eating crow when Watkins is offensive rookie of the year. If the Pats had done this, they would have an A+ rating and everyone raving about the genius of the Pats. We got the best offensive playmaker in the draft, and didn't give up ANY OTHER PICKS in this years deep draft. Yes, we gave up a 1st next year, but there is not likely a WR like Watkins in next years draft, and there is likely to be lots of talent in the 2nd round. Win for Buffalo. Pine Barrens Mafia Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Again, as posted to your last time posting these meaningless evaluations:
Dorkington Posted May 9, 2014 Author Posted May 9, 2014 (edited) I saw that guy in NOLA when I went a couple months ago. Edited May 9, 2014 by Dorkington
Wayne Cubed Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 In my opinion this is all that matters: Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter 11m A handful of teams had Bills WR Sammy Watkins as the No. 1 player on their board. If he was rated as the no. 1 player on teams boards and the Bills got him, how could that be bad. The pundits were wrong.
stony Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Yet 99% of every pundit/scout/analyst/talking head says he's the best WR to come out in 5 yrs. I can live with it.
K D Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 (edited) that is ridiculous that they could give us such a low grade. the fact is that NOBODY KNOWS how this will turn out. at worst they should give us a grade somewhere in the middle because it could go either way. we got what most teams had as the #1 offensive player in the whole draft (some #1 overall). if Watkins is a pro bowler and we make the playoffs then how is this a bad move? it's time to win NOW Edited May 9, 2014 by kdiggz

Canadian Bills Fan Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 All the NFL analysts hate the Bills so I dont care. Watkins could have slipped and went to the Bills at #9 and they still would have hated the pick. CBF
34-78-83 Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 why do we look for these "rankings" by "experts" the day after a draft when we know there is ZERO credibility to them? Save yourself some stress and don't bother... Just me
Kellyto83TD Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Screw the ratings. The cost wasn't that high and I am sick of hearing it was. They are pissed BUFFALO pulled off the move. Had it been the lions or someone else it would have been kudos across the board...!@#$ Em' This kid was THE #1 Player over all on a number of teams boards, we made a great deal, got a great player and FINLLY A TRUE #1 WR something sorely lacking on this team.

H2o Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 The bobble-heads are blithering idiots for the most part. I could care less of their "1st Round Grades". See me at the end of December and then we can talk about it. Fugg'em all. Continue on Mr. Whaley and Co.
