PromoTheRobot Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 A consistant d-bag. What has Jerry said in almost every column he's ever wrote about the Bills? The front office is too timid. So you can probably guess his reaction to the trade.
Fingon Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 The Bills are going all-in with EJ Manuel and getting him one of the best WR corps in the NFL. Watkins and Williams on the outside with Stevie in the slot and Robert Woods coming in for 4 WR looks. If the Bills believe Watkins is a true elite number one wide receiver then the trade makes a ton of sense. I haven't read Sully's column, but I can't criticize a trade that fills one of the only glaring needs on this team. Right tackle is really the only position on offense that we don't at least have an adequate starter for now. Keeping our 2nd round pick and giving up next year's 1st allows us to fill the right tackle spot with a day one starter.

How is it that Robert Woods, who enjoyed an effective and productive rookie campaign as a starter, is suddenly a bench sitter? Every GM the League has ever had have unanimously said the biggest transition and jump a player makes is from his rookie season to the second year. You (we) have to expect even better play from Robert, who already is a precision route runner, confident player and sure handed. We also have the Vapor Trail that is Marquise Goodwin and the anomaly TJ Graham. At least one of these guys will have be offered up in a trade. There is, after all, only one football. Don't discount Robert Woods maintaining his starting position and taking a huge step up.
bowery4 Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 I don't click Scully links. I am hoping I can get him fired.

In fact, they don't return to their rookie year production until year 3.

Someone's gotta sit and it won't be Woods. Stevie is not the FO's guy and his cap hit will make it easier to move. I like Stevie and want him on the team but it's not looking that way.

MarkAF43 Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Why are we not talking about TJ Graham, our "# 2 receiver?" IMO he's the first one shown the door above everyone else
I'm Spartacus Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 TJ is gone for sure. Stevie in a trade? What about Williams? WE ARE STOCKED AT WR!!!
