boyst Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Soooo, if we had a track team, we'd likely destroy all takers: TJ Graham 40y: 4.41 60m: 6.62 100m: 10.21 200m: 20.79 S Watkins: 40y: 4.43 60m: 6.91 100m: 10.45 200m: 21.11 CJ Spiller: 40y: 4.37 60m: 6.65 100m: 10.22 200m: 20.91 M Goodwin: 40y: 4.27 60m: 6.69 100m: 10.24 200m: 21.24 Nickell Robey: 40y: 4.47 Ran track at USC but I cannot find stats. With the stacking of receivers, one could guess that they may be trying to run a run n' shoot style offense. My biggest worry as a rational minded individual is that team is speed based with a lack of strength. In the NFL, everyone is fast, but if you lack the strength to exploit the middle, you are as boned as a team led by Rob Johnson.

I like 100m times, love 200m times but if you want to impress me show me your 400 time. If you can break 46 seconds I will think you're a God. If you can break 50, I will think you're amazing. If you can beat 54 I will give you respect. If you can't break 60, don't waste my time. Also, I love Brian Moorman. 55mH: 7.5 110mH: 13.81 400mH: 49.77 400m...with hurdles. The guy is no joke. If I had more time I would look in to who did what, because I am sure we had some field athletes in those big uglies. Fred Jackson is my decathlete. I don't care if he's never ran it, you just need heart to run that race.
Formerly Allan in MD Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Speed is great but in football there's a little thing about getting the ball before it matters.

Shoot: Ej snaps the ball from shotgun, counts 1 mississippi, and chucks it. Run: Any of the WRs listed above run under it, because short of a PI/illegal contact, the only way to stop this to park the safties 40 yards down the field!
Jamesdangerman Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Don't forget that Leodis McKelvin ran a 4.39 at the combine. He's no slouch in the straight line speed department.
