BringBackFergy Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 I have to hand it to Chip Kelly, he thinks outside the box. I know having a big, tall TE is nothing new, but this guy towers over most CB's and safeties. He served our country and I wish him the very best. I'm sure he will be a team motivator (Army Rangers are tough SOB's) http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/10885739/philadelphia-eagles-sign-alejandro-villanueva-6-foot-9-former-us-army-ranger
Wayne Cubed Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Not that this is your fault, more ESPN's, but NFL.com says he's been scouted for DE not TE. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000346583/article/eagles-sign-us-army-ranger-alejandro-villanueva

RyanC883 Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 seems like this guy could play everywhere for the Eagles. Rangers are pretty versatile. A guy that tall and athletic does not come along often. It'd be crazy to not try to use him in the red-zone IMO.
