The Big Cat Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 (edited) A cool data plot by CBS Sports analyzing snap counts from the 2011 draft class. Funny to see where the vaunted Green Bay Packers--considered by many to be the league's build-from-the-draft model--fall in terms of average productivity from their 2011 class. Spoiler alert: dead last. Another spoiler alert: Buffalo has had the 10th most productive class, by their metric. http://www.cbssports...-2011-nfl-draft I'm hoping this is a popular thread because: It's a slow day for me at work. Let's face it, there's NOTHING left to say about the 2014 draft!! Edited May 5, 2014 by The Big Cat

Let's face it, there's NOTHING left to say about the 2014 draft!! I'll say something about the 2011 draft... I bet the 49ers wish they had traded up to the bottom of the 1st rd to take Kaepernick so they had a 5th yr option on his deal instead of 4 years.
Mr. WEO Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Snap counts = productivity?? Well, a team has to send 11 guys out the on offense and 11 on defense..... Look who's left from that draft. Dareus a solid starter, A Williams May be a good safety, Searcy and Hairston backup material. That's it.

But, if that's a consistent mistake across all teams, then the Bills had an exquisitely average retention percentage from 2011. http://goo.gl/U7z0ZF Also, don't think I overlooked your "Williams may be a good safety" downplay. He may not be a good cornerback, but the only evidence available indicates he is a good safety. Edited May 5, 2014 by The Big Cat
