YoloinOhio Posted May 5, 2014 Author Posted May 5, 2014 I'll venture a guess that the thing he was doing was praying like a mofo. Maybe he told Mary: "Until you tell me who's getting the Bills, 'You Keep Me Hangin' On'." Does that work for you, Yolo?
thewildrabbit Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 It ultimately pertained to leadership/coaching changes. He said it before Brandon was promoted and Marrone hired. Not sure that that constitutes it being "on like a mofo." There was, if memory serves me correctly, ownership change talk and speculation around that time. So, perhaps we still don't know the full extent of that phrase just yet. I think of Brandon / Marrone "on like a mofo" in a different context. I continue to hope someone buys the team who wants to put a winning team on the field above all else.
C.Biscuit97 Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Absolutely love Thurman as a Bill. Absolutely ignore everything he says now. Great dude though.
BigPappy Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 given his political leanings, i'm guessing that it involves trump, assorted lotions and massive amounts of regret. Now that there was funny! BigPappy
CodeMonkey Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 I'm pretty sure on like a mofo just means 2 for 1 drink specials at 34 rush. Damn you for beating me to the 34 rush joke
RuntheDamnBall Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Mess with Bon Jovi's bus like a MoFo Sugarin' the gas tank like a mofo.
Beerball Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 What Jamie just wrote. whatever...if you consider firing Chan Gailey MOFO worthy more power to ya.
Green Lightning Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 whatever...if you consider firing Chan Gailey MOFO worthy more power to ya. Firing Chan and RW turning the team over to Russ is indeed Mofo worthy. What's Mofo worthy in your book?
WickedGame Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 (edited) MoreFo? SloMoFo? SchlomoFo? On Like a MoFo II: More Onner? "Like" This If You're a MoFo? TempoMoFo? Edited May 5, 2014 by WickedGame
sodbuster Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Maybe while hanging out with Brady this weekend he told him to take it easy on Buffalo this year.
macaroni Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 (edited) now I'm confused ....... is it on like a MoFo again ......... or is it STILL on like a MoFo? I never head that it was off like a MoFo Edited May 5, 2014 by macaroni
The Wiz Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 now I'm confused ....... is it on like a MoFo again ......... or is it STILL on like a MoFo? I never head that it was off like a MoFo It's only on like a mofo when Thurman says so. Otherwise it's off.
Buffaloed in Pa Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Absolutely love Thurman as a Bill. Absolutely ignore everything he says now. Great dude though. The dodge dealer in town here in Pa. just bought a international scout convertible fom Therm, last week.
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Did thurman say the "on like a mofo* was about the bills or did everyone just assume and get all excited over nothing If I recall he specifically said that it had nothing to do with the coaching, QB, or ownership situation. Or did he say that in a later tweet? I know he specified that before announcing what it was.
Green Lightning Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 now I'm confused ....... is it on like a MoFo again ......... or is it STILL on like a MoFo? I never head that it was off like a MoFo True that, but I happen to think it's a new mofo that's on.
Dirtbag Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 True that, but I happen to think it's a new mofo that's on. disagree. i feel that the mofo was perpetually on a gentle simmer with occasional wild fluctuations of unbridled percolation. given thurm's comments, i assume we are now in (or rapidly approaching) a period of peak mofo.
3rdand12 Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Turnin' up the heat oh yeah So, perhaps we still don't know the full extent of that phrase just yet. I think of Brandon / Marrone "on like a mofo" in a different context. I continue to hope someone buys the team who wants to put a winning team on the field above all else. Its a broad brush

By your measure, there is nothing new or fresh on the planet, instead just an occasional crest in the slow roil of ideas. Thurman, the innovator and speaker the real, is not one to dwell on mofos past. He's thinking, I'm sure, that is a mofo pregnant with new possibilities.I ,for one, walk with him. You?

I think Thurman would vehemently deny impregnating any mofos.
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 e=(mo)(fo)2 Quite simple really. e= Thurman's finally plan. mo= number of tweets he's sent. fo= number of retweets Of course this equation varies by how much it happens to by on by.
