YoloinOhio Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 NFL @nfl 22m Top 5 RB Tandems (via @BuckyBrooks): 1. PHI: @CutOnDime25 + @DarrenSproles 2. BUF: @CJSPILLER + @Fred22Jackson FULL: http://on.nfl.com/1fjQHpj
Rocky Landing Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 I think the FJ/CJ duo has been a top three tandem for as long as the two of them have shared the field.
CSBill Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 yeah, I see that . . . but I don't think they will carry the ball as much this year, which should actually help make them more productive.
bowery4 Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 J. Bell should still be a Bill, I will never stop being mad about that.
boyst Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 J. Bell should still be a Bill, I will never stop being mad about that. Could you imagine that man? I would drool over a 4 back lineup: Anthony Dixon, J Bell, CJ Spiller, Fred Jackson. In fact...god, fantasy lineup time: SJ13, MWilliams at WR with EJ under center... Anthony Dixon at wing...Fred and CJ in the backfield. CJ motions out to WR opposite Dixon Fred and CJ both motion out - one of them has to run a screen #amiright? When you want to give either a break, when you just can...JBell comes in. Want some size? Want to get some goal line? Fred Jackson, Anthony Dixon at wing, with Chandler at TE. SJ 13 barely off the left side and aside Dixon. CJ in the backfield can motion out, Dixon falls back to WR...and blows it up and runs it. CJ stays in the backfield and has so much space outside that he would go crazy and run inside. A pass to any one of those fine red zone targets. and of course, at any point, any of them can be subbed by JBell. Of course, I'd have rather kept Bell and never drafted Spiller, but hey, can't go back on it now.
Jamie Nails Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Imagine if we kept Marshawn Lynch. Don't fret, we have chris Hairston and tank carder.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 J. Bell should still be a Bill, I will never stop being mad about that. J. Bell is pretty good, but he just proves that good RBs can be found anywhere. ton of guys just like him in the league, but just never get a chance.
boyst Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 I'll take Freddy over Lynch Why would you have to take one over the other when we could have had both? We realistically could have, and should have Lynch, Jackson, and J Bell on this roster. We had no business drafting Spiller. Dixon at this point could have been worthwhile - but Lynch would still be here. Lynch, Jackson and Bell... Lynch and Bell would be #1 tandem Lynch and Jackson would be #1 tandem Jackson and Bell might be #2 tanem Lynch, Jackson and Bell. ...get outta here man, that'd have been ridiculous. Yet. Possible, easily.
bowery4 Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 hmm I sort of forgot about Lynch when I posted, in some ways he just wasn't growing as a player here tho. The change of scenery and such certainly helped him in my opinion but maybe I am just being a homer.
QB Bills Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Freddie + CJ = #1. Imagine we had a qb on this team...
Ronin Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Don't fret, we have chris Hairston and tank carder. LOL And Michael Jasper, remember that hype, about the "workout video." Freddie + CJ = #1. Imagine we had a qb on this team... Imagine we had competent personnel guys and good coaching.
BillsFan17 Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 As they should be. Spiller played a lot of the season last year hurt. A high ankle sprain is very hard to play through especially at a position that relies so much on agility and burst. I think Spiller will re gain form and a lot of people will be eatting their words about Spiller.

And somehow they are all of a sudden going to win?

BillsBytheBay Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 (edited) I'll take Freddy over Lynch I love fred..... But no. Edited April 27, 2014 by JaxBills

And somehow they are all of a sudden going to win? it seems as though somewone has to "remind" us were a 6-10 team if anything positive comes up about our players. If we kept Lynch, we wouldn't have drafted Spiller. we had Lynch, and drafted Spiller. It's why J. Bell didn't make the team. Edited April 27, 2014 by JaxBills
